    First, I would like to thank DeadHead82NL for sharing this.

    This achievement is bugged as of 12/17/24

    SPOILERS!

    If you have 100% on everything but this achievement has not popped, You can try going to the fountain of Confession at Vatican City. At the entrance there is a statue you need to snap a picture of even if you already have. The statue is located right at the top of the stairs and it should say that taking the picture will reveal a hint.

    This should pop the achievement however I cannot guarantee that this will work for everyone, but I can say it has worked for me, and many others so it is worth giving a try if you’re having trouble.

    Again I would like to give a huge thanks to the legend DeadHead82NL for sharing this, without it many of us would have never unlocked this achievement.

    DansaffectBe careful when collecting bits for the journal as I found that even when collected and game auto saved that when I revisited an area about half of the journal pieces just got got reset.

    Firefighter1388There should be a game update #3 coming out next week Feb 17-21 that should be fixing the problems a lot of users are experiencing, especially this achievement.

    Bloodhound82Im missing 2 notes in Sukhothai. Both of them are located at the beginning part (path to the Hotel which will be attacked a bit later) of the campaign. Ist it possible to visit this place again without starting over the whole game?

    I tried the solutions taking Pictures but nothin worked fort me.

    This is a video guide for fixing the Archivist glitch!

    So if you’re anything like me you have completed everything in the game and have full 100% but your Archivist achievement hasn’t popped. Or you have like 1 or 2 notes that are glitched stopping you from reaching 100% completion. Well thanks to the TrueAchievements community a fix for this glitch has been found. Basically, we want to return to any of the main quest puzzles and take pictures of them to trigger the in game hints. As a warning though, this fix itself is a bit glitchy and may cause your game to crash like mine does here at the Fountain of Confession puzzle. So you may need to try another location like the Sacred Wounds puzzle under the Tower of Nicholas. Again if this one doesn’t work then just move to the next main story puzzle and keep trying until hopefully your achievement pops!

    alfieleeAs of today, tower of saint nicolas door unlocked it for me. On second play through I made sure not to take any hint pics.

    Uncle Sunan seems to be a popular glitched photo stopping folks getting 100% completion.

    I revisited the Vatican, ran to Di Via Belvedere and the Tower of St Nicholas V.

    Enter the tower, cross the ground floor and progress through the chapel, down the spiral broken staircase, and a tunnel to the huge hinged door with Christ on the Cross. Snap a few hint photos of this and this should add to your snapped photos count.

    If Uncle Sunan was indeed your glitched photo this should now pop the chv for you.

    Have you tried other areas where you can do Hint photos? It might be the game doesn't crash for these (shame you have a game crash when you are trying to fix and existing glitch!!):

    There are other Hint Photos you could try:
    • The Cipher Machine - Himalayas - climb through KMS Kummetz, you’ll eventually reach the Officer Lounge where the machine is.
    • Left Gear Train - Sukhothai - North West where the entrance to the Hidden Pyramid.
    • Game Board - Sukhothai- the Game Room within the Hidden Pyramid North West of the map.

    AndreiMaxSLDthere was another glitched photo prompt for me just like this one, during the main story at sukhotal theres a moment you need to solve the giant game puzzle, if you tell people to move before taking the picture, you wont be able to take the picture anymore (even if revisiting)

    players mostly get bugs for the fried egg note and uncle picture and unlock the achievement taking pictures at vatican puzzles and geting the achievement with the journal notes being at 99% before that, but i dont know if you can let that one go since you may get stuck at 98% instead, just a warning cause until it get fixed, the great game puzzle photo can be considered missable.

    after some research i found some people having the same issue, i reverted a save pressing X at the saved games menu, for my luck it took me back before the puzzle.

    Lord MidasAndreiMaxSLD I didn't know there was another glitched photo (fried egg note). I wonder if taking extra additional hint photos would counter this glitch? If this can be verified I'll add it to the solution.
