Ark: Survival Ascended has had its fair share of troubles when it comes to its console launch: it's now been briefly delayed for Xbox and Windows again, but Studio Wildcard says it should still be released later this week.

Ark: Survival Ascended was delayed before having a surprise PC launch along with a second delay for consoles, when Studio Wildcard confirmed it would be staggering the console release and bringing the game to Xbox first. At the time, Ark: Survival Ascended was given a new Xbox Series X|S release date of November 14.

However, Studio Wildcard has given the game another brief delay on Xbox, explaining that the game is "still going through the certification process" and that they're now "expecting it to release it later this week, but, we'll update with a more precise time when we have it."

Ark: Survival Ascended will include Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Ark Genesis Part 1, Ark Genesis Part 2, and more, with its Store page adding that "the Island is released now, with the subsequent expansion worlds to be added at no additional cost on a regular basis."

We'll be sure to update when Studio Wildcard shares a new Xbox release date for Ark: Survival Ascended.
