Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden delayed to avoid November's big releases Supernatural action-RPG Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden has been delayed into 2024 to avoid other big game releases coming this year.Sean Carey Published 27 Sep 2023 FollowtopicsXbox Series X|SDelayedSean Carey We'll now have to wait an extra three months before we can start unlocking the Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden achievements, as Don't Nod and Focus Entertainment have delayed the action-RPG to February 2024. In a press release, Don't Nod and Focus announced that Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden would miss its original November 7 release date "as the market is experiencing an intense release cycle for AAA titles on PC and consoles at the end of the year." Instead, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will now launch on February 13, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC."We are convinced that a commercial release of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden during a less saturated period will give it the attention it deserves," the press release reads. If Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden was to launch as planned in November, it would be competing against the likes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name, Persona 5 Tactica, Super Mario RPG remake, Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn DLC and, of course, Bluey: The Video Game. However, February 2024 is also starting to look pretty busy, with Persona 3 Reload, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Tomb Raider Remastered, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League already on the docket.More Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden stories: Five brilliant Xbox games you might have missed in 2024 Our 6 best Xbox games of the year 2024 New Xbox games — February 12 to February 18 Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden interview: "Emotional material in a rather grim universe" Every 2023 Xbox game that was delayed out of this year DelayedXbox Series X|S Written by Sean CareyA big fan of Xbox achievements, Sean has committed to playing as many of the best RPGs, racing games, and first-person shooters on and off Xbox Game Pass as possible.
