This achievement can be unlocked finally after the May 15, 2020 update.
From the main menu, start a new game and select any world type of your choosing, so long as it is set to Survival. Then before you begin, you will need to edit the game's advanced settings (brought up by pressing
) and find Armageddon mode by scrolling down to the "Environment Hostility" setting and Armageddon will be the 4th option in that drop-down menu. Once that is enabled, apply your settings then you are free to back out of the menu and start your game. You can also load a previous save and use the same steps as above to turn on Armageddon.
Once you have loaded into your world, you can make this achievement a little easier through the in-game admin panel, which is brought up by pressing
+
simultaneously. In this panel you will find "Admin Tools" as the default menu, and in this menu you will want to toggle on "Enable creative mode tools" and "Invulnerable", neither of which will negate the achievement and allows you to not have to worry about running out of oxygen or dying. From here on out, all that's left to do is simply play/idle your game for a total of 5 hours and the achievement is your's!
