Final Fantasy XIV Crossroads update rolls out with eight Xbox achievements

Alongside adding the Echoes of Vana'diel crossover raid series and more, today's Patch 7.1 update also adds new Final Fantasy XIV - Crossroads Xbox achievements.

Players trekking across Eorzia for the Final Fantasy XIV achievements can download Patch 7.1: Crossroads today, which adds a new Final Fantasy XI crossover raid series and several other challenges to the Xbox MMO. There are also eight new Final Fantasy XIV Crossroads Xbox achievements to unlock along the way!

Square Enix continues the Dawntrail expansion's Warrior of Light journey with today's Patch 7.1 — the first of several planned 7.1x updates filled with new content to explore in the coming months. Today's update is called Crossroads, and it finally introduces the Echoes of Vana'diel Final Fantasy XI crossover alliance raid series, as well as the new Jade Stoa (Unreal) and Minstrel's Ballad: Sphene's Burden trials and the Yuweyawata Field Station Dungeon.

If you fancy diving into the new content, there are eight new Xbox achievements to pick up with the Crossroads update. While five of them are secret, the three that we can see without revealing any spoilers task you with reaching reputation level seven with the Turali Travel Agency, completing Jueno: The First Walk, and reaching satisfaction level 5 with Nitowikwe.

In other Square Enix news, Final Fantasy 16 producer Naoki Yoshida recently reaffirmed the company's plans to simultaneously launch future games on Xbox alongside other platforms.
