How to unlock the Needs More Whammy Bar achievement

    Actions
    Just make sure you turn on the non-scoring skull Prophet Birthday Party before starting this level Regret on Halo 2. As long as you finish the level with the skull on, this easy achievement should be yours. The skull can be found on the far right of the second row.

    The skull has a 1.00x multiplier which means it's safe to put this on for your first playthrough as it won't void the level completion, or any speed or score run attempts, for any concerned about this. Difficulty should not matter.

    Update: Darthmushu confirmed this can be done on easy difficulty with the scarab and other skulls on.

    Update 2: Lots of talk of this achievement not triggering when it should do. Some have advised making sure you have the timing HUD on as it seems to help. Check the comments for more info.

    KylespudJust done this myself. Played on Easy, Scarab Skull, Acrophobia and of course Prophet Birthday Party. I did turn on Time HUD from other people's suggestions and finished the level. Had to wait about 10 minutes though for it to pop, but in the end it did. Thanks +1

    Halo: The Master Chief Collection - Halo 2 - Needs More Whammy Bar - Halo 2: Complete the level Regret with the Prophet Birthday Skull activated. This achievement is fairly easy to unlock.

    On the mission Regret (you need the prophet birthday skull activated), complete the entire mission and kill the prophet.

    Once the prophet has been defeated your achievement should pop! Enjoy!

    kahlurAs of 17 September 2023, got the achievement without problem on Normal with no Time HUD and only the Prophet Birthday Skull.

    Funnily enough, I also got the Fist of Fury achievement (beating the par score on Regret) with very little effort. Was going through the mission a little quick though. Final score was 8,015.
