All you need to do guys is just Complete the First jump. you will come to a point where you have no power is scripted in to the sandbox mission, then all you have to do is follow the station round till you come across the well placed medical station.
Or you could just load up a single-player World and mine till 0 energy, then run back to your medical station whilst taking small amounts of damage to heal.
