On the Second Day… achievement in Kingdom Two Crowns

[warning: some achievements in this game are currently buggy/unreliable - logging out and back in again may force the achievement to unlock]

For this achievement, you need to upgrade your Town Centre to level 3 on the second day, as this level gives you free walls.

Make sure to upgrade your Town Centre whenever you can. You will notice the empty coin slots that appear when you pass by it. You will need a total of 19 pieces of gold to update your Town Centre to Level 3.
- Level 1 costs 3 Gold (“stand here to light a fire”)
- Level 2 costs 7 Gold
- Level 3 costs 9 Gold

Explore the left and right side of the island to find chests with gold in them, there should be a minimum of three with plenty of gold to pay for the necessary upgrades. Do not bother building walls yourself, as your archers should be able to handle the Greed without fortifications during the first night(s) or you can leave a few coins outside your base to lure them away. Building the one wall as part of the ghost tutorial when starting a game does not void the achievement.

Wait until the morning of Day 2 (when the II appears on the screen) to upgrade to Level 3.* When your Town Centre is Level 3, the two inner walls are automatically built for free, unlocking the achievement.

* Thanks to WinkyWookiee for confirming the upgrade to Level 3 cannot be done before Day 2, otherwise it will void the achievement.

I did exactly as you mentionned in a coop, and upgraded to lvl 3 during day one but the achievement didn't pop. I ensured doing all the building with my main controller. I will try again in a solo play.

I did exactly as OP said in single player and it didnt seem to unlock either. I think i was still on day 1, perhaps it needs to be done ON day 2?

Interesting. Could someone confirm whether it indeed unlocks on the second day? I’ll add a warning to the guide that it might not work on day one...

I logged out and logged back in a bit later and it unlocked for me. That being said the achievements with this game have been wholly unreliable for me personally. There's definitely something wrong with a bunch of them.

(And i played the last Kingdom release and they all unlocked fine doing the exact same things so it's this specific game).

I upgraded the town center to level three on day one without the achievement unlocking (two different save slots). Then restarted the game and waited until the morning of Day 2 (when the II appears on the screen) to upgrade to level three. The achievement popped immediately upon placing the coins for the upgrade. This was in single player. Hope this helps.

I can confirm that it unlocked properly when I built the town center lvl 3 on day 2. You can't do it during day 1, for some reason it voids the achievement. Thank you WinkyWookie!

To add: you can build to level 2 on day 1 and you can create walls. Note the first ones, but the next ones. You will need to clear trees for this. This way your first walls, which will be affected by your "camp", will auto-build from nothing. Easy doable if you move to island 2.
