Lets talk 90s Classics.
So recently Atari (Previously known as Infogrames) bought several 80s and 90s era titles for redistribution.. One of which stood out for me.. Bubsy in: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind (1993).. This game is but one of a number of games that made up my childhood experience gaming.. Long story short it made me think again about a number of classic games I played growing up and would happily play again either as updated ports, remasters or remakes.. I have a desire to add nearly every game to this account I played growing up.. Within reason of course.. Nintendo and Sony IP aren't going to appear on Xbox as much as I would like to see MediEvil on Xbox it won't happen... I played many DOS, Win95 era games and PS1 games that seem to be forgotten, hardly known or outright obscure.. So I thought it would be fun to list these games and possibly follow them up with some interesting information regarding them.

Little Big Adventure / Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure (1994)

Little Big Adventure 2 / Twinsen's Odyssey (1997)

I could gush about these two games for hours.. Instead I want to just briefly say this game means a lot to me.. It speaks to me in a very real way visually and conceptually.. An oppressive but hopeful game.. I am pleased to say that some of the original creators of the games have acquired to IP and have began making a rebooted series which is currently seeking a publisher..... Microsoft?

Hogs of War (2000)

Think Worms.. In 3D.. But with Pigs... In WW1.. Lots of charm and personality in this one with a satirical eye on WW1 propaganda and witty pig puns galore... This to has recently seen its IP required by the original creator and studio head. They have been working away on a Remaster/Rebuild of the game for current hardware with the aim to launch a Kickstart in the near future.

Hocus Pocus (1994)

An extremely tight DOS platform shooter.. Never finished it, super tough.. Unfinished business.. 3D Realms still own this game but don't seem to have any desire to port it to console.. Yet.

Fury of the Furries (1993)

A very inventive puzzle platformer from the Amiga/DOS era.. A sequel is being developed by some of the original devs with regular posting on their YouTube channel..

RollerCoaster Tycoon (1999)

Many might be familiar with this one.. At least its name.. But the original game and its sequel are what I would say are perfect games.. A timeless style and an addictive detail to building the theme parks with pleasing music and sound effects.. This and its 2002 sequel should frankly have been remastered and rereleased by now... Its a crime they haven't been.. The brands name has suffered since the original creator left game development behind.

Sam & Max: Hit the Road (1993)

Dark humour and some of the best LucasArts point and click puzzles outside of Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle.. Before LucasFilms sale to Demonic Mouse it had released very good remaster/remakes of the Monkey Island games with plans for Day of the Tentacle before being cancelled... With the remasters of Tim Schafer games with LucasArts later coming from his company DoubleFine it raises the question... What will happen to the other LucasArts classics that deserve a remaster?.. Sam & Max being one. Some other worthy mentions from the LucasArts liberty not remastered or reissued already.

Loom (1990)
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (1992)
Star Wars: Dark Forces (1995) - Remaster just announced by Nightdive Studios
The Dig (1995)
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II (1997)
The Curse of Monkey Island (1997)
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine (1999)
Escape from Monkey Island (2000)
Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds (2001) - Made by a Microsoft studio
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (2002) - Made by Raven Software
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter (2002)
Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb (2003)
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (2003) - Made by Raven Software
Armed and Dangerous (2003)

Tenchu: Stealth Assassins (1998)

Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins (2000)

The legendary ninja stealth games that innovated the entire genre and also died with it.... Unrivalled in my eyes this is still the pinnacle of the stealth games mountain.. Graphic, raw and inventive this is a series that has missing from the gaming landscape for to long... The first 3 games were published by Activision.. Who retained the rights to those 3 games.. Microsoft published Tenchu Z so with the closure of the Microsoft/Activision deal Microsoft will be a major stake holder in the IP... With some incentive they could persue From Software for the future development rights to the games.. And with it re-releases, remakes and sequels can start to be produced.
