Players looking forward to washing away Ork blood from the mighty Space Marine Dreadnaughts will have to wait a little longer, as the Warhammer 40,000 DLC for PowerWash Simulator won't be launching this year as planned.

"The Warhammer 40,000 Special Pack is now coming next year," FuturLabs said in a post on X. "We don't have a date to share yet, but we will let everyone know as soon as we can!"

FuturLabs revealed the Warhammer 40,000 Special Pack DLC back in May before giving it a Q4 2023 release window via a PowerWash Simulator roadmap in July. Other than the teaser shown in the announcement post from May, the developer hasn't revealed what we'll be cleaning in the new DLC. Will we be making sure the emperor's finest are glowing with self-righteous perfection, or washing away the grime from a rather flesh-hungry daemon? We'll just have to wait and see.

For now, though, the Back to the Future DLC, which launched last month, added another ten PowerWash Simulator achievements to collect, so that should keep us busy for a while.

In other news from the Warhammer universe, Sabre Interactive's Tyranid-filled sequel Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has also been delayed into 2024, meaning that we'll not be joining Captain Titus on his next adventure until 2024.

PowerWash Simulator is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass, but if shooting things with water isn't your cup of tea, why not check out some of the best games on Game Pass instead?
