This IS my FIRST review so be eay on me and also comment if giving me negative feedback so I can improve my reviews.

Okay where to begin, where to begin. I have been playing Tony Hawk games ever since the first one came out like a lot of others and alot has changed since Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 mainly the gameplay structure has changed(for example getting off your board,no more timers) now let's see how this game stacks up.

    Graphics 8/10
Well this was different from other Tony Hawk games this had better graphics in my opinion but not revolutionary. The graphics made this game different from other Tony Hawk as it gave tricks a little more realism(although some of the tricks are fake)

I personally liked the graphics in this game.

    Gameplay 6/10
The gameplay is this game is little bit like the last Tony Hawk game but adds some features and removes some features from the last Tony Hawk game like sticker slap but that's not the point. The real point is the new features like Nail A Trick n which you click both analog sticks when your in the air and move any of the sticks in any direction to do different flip trick combinations which in my opinion mimics the Skate. games a little bit. Another feature is the fast loading times which makes it more fun seeing as you get in the game quicker.Although gameplay is good it still has glitches in it.One time I experience my self in the game going through the game world for no reason or it just made me glitch out of my combo. All in all the gameplay is good but don't expect groundbreakers.

    Soundtrack 10/10
The soundtrack is made up of mostly Rock,Metal,Hip Hop.
Some of the bands in the game people will know. All in all there was some solid songs but I didnt like the Hip-Hop songs lots. But this game has a solid soundtrack

    Overall 7/10
With all that said this game is good but some of the glitches and story goals and acheivements(like the get to #1 rank is very frustrating) but this is a fun game none of the less.If your a die-hard Tony Hawk fan get this.

Fright KnightAs you have asked for it, I'll give you a little bit of constructive criticism to hopefully help you if you want to continue to write review for games. If you are going to talk about the graphics you should also talk about the environments and character design. Although you did talk about a very important subject within the graphics subject with the tricks, you should not forget about everything else that's on the screen as that can be just as important.

This is just my personal opinion and I am not in any way professional reviewer at all. Hope this helps.

JamP0undYou say that the nail the trick mode mimics the skate games a bit but this was out way before those games.

Phobzy85I thought the same as JamP0und. NTT was never a mimic of Skates system.

NOW this game was the the holy nirvana when I was growing up and I’m talking about the 360/PS3 version. I never owned it until 2020 until I finally decided to buy myself a used 360 because when I was growing up my parents never considered getting me a higher quality console like 360 or PS3, so I had to make use with the PS2 and PSP versions. I will say the PS2/PSP versions were still very very fun back then, the controls were still like the the previous games. But the graphics were awful, even for PS2. THUG/2/THAW had WAY better graphics. Also the whole point was the game was defeated because all the levels were separate and even different.
NOW for the 360 version, I love the concept of this game, the open world is great. The graphics still blow my mind today, so groundbreaking for 2006, honestly. The feeling with the controls are very fresh, And the goals are a lot more fun and challenging compared to the PS2 version.
But after years, I do now find my own personal complains for a game I use to think was perfect. The mechanics are a little slower(noticeable manual tricks) than the previous games(even it’s PS2 version), which make some higher combos easier to bail. Also some tricks are gone like handstand. Also the game is buggy when going from level to level.
The soundtrack is pretty damn good, Angel Of Death by SLAYER!
Anyway, still this game is the one I’d take on a desert island if I had to pick one, it’s still HIGHLY recommended!

A game I had dreamed of playing for 15 years, but couldn't because I didn't have a console.

And this is the moment when expectations and reality have been met. Vivid design, updated engine and graphics. And all this «Neversoft» did in one year, after the release of «THAW».

Many people don't like that the game has gone from arcade to realism, but I like it. The visual style and motion capture did their job. Everything looks very smooth.

The levels themselves were cleverly combined on one map. One location flows into another. One cardinally different from the other. In general, the visuals of the game, the plot and even the soundtrack as if conveys to us that the series departs from the «Punk» style more in «Alternative».

I recommend it to all fans of the series.
