    Introduction

This will be one of the hardest games to review for the fact that most people play this game for the easy 1000 achievement points. I have to point out that anyone can get the five achievements done in a matter of two to five minutes and never have to bother looking at the game. I think those who like the anime show will enjoy this game and younger gamers who like adventure games was also the target market for the developers.

    Game play: 5/10

This is a button mashing game. The fighting system has you pressing button constantly to fend out the hordes of bad guys that come your way. Sure there are combos and other moves but basically pressing one button all the time gets you pass most stages. There are a few other characters other than Avatar you play but he is the star of the show and this game as well. Like all adventure games there are a few puzzles to solve and lost of bad guys to fight. The bosses do provide a challenge.

    Graphics: 5/10

The game almost makes you feel like you are in the television show. The characters and the background are very well done but not CGI quality. The cut scenes look like they were taken from a couple episodes of the show. All of which are decent but could have been done better.

    Sound and Music: 6/10

Like with the graphics, the game does recreate an episode. Those familiar with the game will recognize the voices and even some of the music. The action sounds are defined nicely.

Difficulty: 1/10 (Degree of skill to play and enjoy the game)

This is not a hard game at all. A very linear storyline makes the game fairly easy. If you lose all your health you just start off at the last checkpoint. The game is meant for a younger audience and the AI is adjusted as such.

    Final Thoughts:

This game has a very bad reputation as being the easiest 1000 gamer score game ever released. As such a lot of players will just play until they get the five achievements that unlock the full 1000. I have to say that was one of the reasons I bought this game. After getting past the achievements and really trying to play the game, I didn’t enjoyed the experience. It was lacking a lot of the fun factor in the previous Airbender Game.

The Game Nobody Wants You to See on Their Gamercard

This is by no stretch of the imagination THE easiest game to 100% on the XBox 360. This however does not adequately review the game so....I digress.

I bought this game for my daughter while we were getting into the Avatar T.V. series. It was a really great show so I figured I'd buy her the game.

Is was only 4 bucks after all.

After watching her play the game for less than 5 minutes and get every achievement in the game it wasn't very long before I was ripping the controller out of her 9 year old hands to be the achievement whore that I am.

And you are an achievement whore if you have this game. There is no denying it.warning

Because I felt some sense of guilt about playing a game purely for the easy 1000 points I decided that I would continue to play the game till its end.

I did not get very far.

This game is truly horrible. It has no redeeming features whatsoever beyond the easiest 1000 points you will ever get in your entire life.

This is the 360 version of the Atari 2600's E.T.

When M. Night Shyamalan made his horrible movie adaptation of the T.V. show I can only imagine that this game was his primary source material.

This game currently has a completion percentage of 98% on TA. This boggles the mind. Could that many people have broken thumbs or have hand/eye coordination so bad they can't repeatedly press a button fast enough? Whatever the reason there is only one thing worse than having this game on your card.

Having it on your card unfinished.facepalm

Intitally, every kiddy type game is going to get negative reviews because it's reviewed by teenagers and adults and enjoyed by children. However, this game actually did suck. (Which any avid Xbox gamer should know by now.)

The majority of the game consists of the same button being pressed continually to attack oncoming invaders. Seeing as most kiddy games follow that same formula, there was nothing visually satisfying whenever you did. That repetition, even with Avatar-controlling aspect, grew old to even the younger end of my extended family.

While you run around, you'll get force-fed these audio'd opinions from Avatar and his/her/its(?) friends that follow you around. That really deducted from the gameplay as well. Usually someone being saved or helping you out isn't trying to annoy you as well.

If you can get past the terrible gameplay, the graphics as well as the audio weren't anything to really brag about either. For the most part, that same texturing could have been rendered on a Gamecube.

Overall, the game shouldn't throw any one off guard. It was terrible.

There's not much i can add about this terrible game that hasn't been said already, but in a nutshell, this is one of the least enjoyable games i've ever played, and that's a lot of games, believe me. Aside from the obvious and well known cheapness of the achievements, which are genuinely the sole reason to play if you're over about 8 years old, the rest of the game is a disaster. Terrible graphics and sound, and pretty much single button-mashing gameplay from start to finish, it's horrendous from the minute you start to the point you decide to stop and never play it again because watching the grass grow would be a viable alternative. I appreciate that we're all on this website because we're all achievement hounds, and from that viewpoint, Avatar TBE is priceless, but on its own merits, the game is truly diabolical. Rent it, 1000 Gamerscore it, then never think about it again

I don't care how many neg votes i get but this game is really bad and not worth spending a penny on. i am prob the only one who sat down and play from beginning to end but that was just so my son could watch it. i would give this game a 0/10 its a button masher and the storyline is REALLY BAD so unless you want your easy 1000/1000 that you can get in 30 seconds don't buy this game.

i don't think that i could make the review to min words needed as i can sum it up in two words "IT SUCKS"

This game was so pointless, I’m sure 99.999% of players only got it for the easy 1000G. Even with messing up I remember getting all achievements in around 10-20 mins, I never touched it again.
If I could I’d rate it a 0.1 just for the fact it wasn’t a free game.

I honestly don't feel that I can make any sort of comment on the gameplay itself of this game due to the fact that I haven't even completed the first level of the game. I will say though, that the menus, loading screens, cutscenes, audio and character animation that I was exposed to in my short while playing this game were absolutely disgusting. However, due to the fact that I was able to button mash my way to 1000 G in about 10 minutes, I'm gonna go ahead and 5 star this game based on its ridiculously easy achievements.

    So the general overview:

If you're an achievement whore. Pick it up!
If you're not an achievement whore... then why are you even on this website?

Thanks and have a nice day!

This is a pretty bad game in my oppinion. It may be a great game for a small child who's a fan of the show but the only thing I liked was getting 1000 GS in about 2 minutes lol, a much have game for easy achievements. If you see this game anywhere to rent or a friend has it borrow it, its the easiest game ever, way easier than Dash of Destruction. (more GS too) Definetly get this for your achievement collection and a quick boost in gamerscore. I found this game at EB Games for $5.00 lol, that just shows exactly what the game is like.
