Then somebody needs to remember his name, and reach out and say thanks on a PM.

Nearly everybody is underappreciated in this world for doing nice things.
Yes, you are totally right. I'm doing that right now!

Oh damn the Terminator game actually on sale? I’d heard it was surprisingly good and had an eye out ever since.
It's a GREAT week to be an Aliens and Terminator fan!

So...for Resistance...the load times are eternal, the base difficulty is a total cakewalk, the budget is loooow, and the voice acting is mid nineties Resident Evil caliber. If you can see past all that..
It's a solid Metro/Fallout type post apocalyptic stealth action hybrid. It's better than any movie released since t2 and only acknowledges the first two movies as canon. I played it on the hardest difficulty for about 80% of it and was loving how hard it was to kill the T-800's. It got to be a bit much in the action-only segments, but you can adjust it as you go with no penalty to achievements (which are all pretty easy if you follow a guide).

I loved it. Plus...the Terminator theme is pretty much playing every ten minutes in some shape or form.
I was half way through Terminator on Xbox One when the Series X released and I carried over my save. The loading times more than halved, I couldn't believe it.

GreedFall - Gold Edition is discounted 55% but it's been as low as 70% so I think I'll wait till the Black Friday sale.

Great to hear, had my eye on that Terminator game for a while. I'm getting it now it's on sale.
It goes for like 80 for a physical copy so get it while you can, I say.
    State of the badass art.

Hard to understand how the base game Kingdom Come: Deliverance can be $13.49, when the base game plus all four DLC's is only $7.99. Who would buy the base game only option? Is this an error?
Gordon Bennett (yeah, that's my real name [some older Brits would understand that])

There are people out there that do not pay attention to sales or might not even know about them. They assume the Deluxe version is always going to be more and not want to spend the "extra" money.

Any thoughts on Sword Art Online? I played the first game and enjoyed it, but this one looks different. If it's more of the same I'd be fine with that.

No doubt that does happen at times but I would bet it’s more about “units sold”. If you buy the base game and want the dlc but it’s never on sale or not on sale cheaply enough you’ll just avoid it. However if they put a ridiculously discounted Gold edition up you get the dlc and if the price is low enough it looks like the base game basically cost you zero dollars. However, to the bean counters, that’s an extra unit sold. One player just bought 2 copies of the game (not to mention the massive part of the market that is the long tail sales for cheap Gold editions of games). Total sales actually does matter, from what I understand, when allocating funding for a next title. Yes the publishers know how it works, are they fooling themselves? No. But most big publishers are publicly traded or have massive private investments, that’s who they want to make the books look good for.

Will I get a price alert message before the end of the year....? Only time will tell, but not today

I got one for this sale but the alerts are so messed up anymore. Both the wishlist and price alerts only alert for the base game anymore, not the DLC which is what most of my games were set to. I get alerts for base games on sale when I don't have those marked for alerts, only the DLCs -_- I don't like whatever they did to change that awhile back. I don't like my wishlist looking like I have a bunch of instances of the base game wishlisted now either -_-

Ahh that's rough, I'd have figured there's separate things in price alert for DLC?

Anyhow, if anything in my price alerts is on sale, it never tends to be low enough to hit the price I'm after.

There used to be for sure. This was a recent change within the last so many months. It seemed to happen about the same time they changed the wishlist to not show the DLC but the base game itself -_- I need to remove all those price alerts for the DLCs someday so it stops annoying me I guess :(

Lucky me I guess most of the games on my list are Xbox 360 related so if there's a sale (especially on DLC), I won't care if it's low enough, just as long as I can get it cheaper :P Anything that has a disc copy I generally prefer to buy on disc over digital though so there's at least 2 or 3 games on my wishlist I'd rather go that route, they were just stuck there as a reminder to watch for them elsewhere :P

Is there any way to sort the on-sale games by genre?
Need a couple fighting games to complete for the related September TA Target.

Mortal Kombat 11 is on Gamepass and on sale for $10 or so (the bundle with Injustice 2 and MK11 is also on sale for around $20 I think). Those are both easy and good fighting games.

MK X is usually $5 on sale (that’s probably the Gold edition which is most DLC).

As stated several times, Killer Instinct is also on Gamepass.

Gamepass games with easy Title Updates:

Forza Horizon 4 has a lot (some are not easy)
    Forza Horizon 5 has one
The Riftbreaker has an easy one
Outriders has 1 (you will probably have to boost One Half of Every Married Couple)
Dead Cells has multiple free DLCs and Title Updates, turn on assist mode in the menu to make them all a lot easier
Any Telltale or other episodic game considers chapters beyond 1 to be DLC.
AC Origins Discovery Tour stuff is a Title Update and free.
State of Decay 2 is really long and mostly hard but Heartland DLC is easy, standalone and a fun story. This isn’t the shortest option but you’d probably have fun, plus they’re all Coop achievements too.

    Also not Gamepass but F2P:
Each SMITE god added later into the game’s life is its own title update, some have very easy quests, some are hard. If you know how to play you can probably do a god like Izamani pretty quickly. Bonus they should all be listed as coop.

Did I miss any good ones?

    My bargins for this week
Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Royal Edition $7.54 USD from Australia
Just Cause 3: XXL Edition - $4.07 USD also from Australia

Always amuses me that Australians complain the most on TA that games are so expensive in Australia, when they are frequently cheaper than US, Canada, UK, Europe or New Zealand

Probably do the same. I have been eyeing this game for a long time and with that price I would pull the trigger
