Halo MCC is GOATED! 6 halo games in one package and it frequently goes on sale to $9.99, truly amazing.

It really is one of the best deals in gaming. So much value for such little price

So is Sunset Overdrive completely doable solo or no?

Going by the walkthrough overview it looks like you have to play with others for 100%:

Unfortunately for anyone trying to get the online achievements early in their playthrough, multiplayer is geared more as end-of-game content. In order to complete the achievement objectives, you would need a team of 5-7 skilled players to carry you, and even then you would miss two achievements. My advice is to approach the game focusing on the campaign, leveling up weapons and the various attributes as you go. Once you finish the campaign, start looking for or organizing gaming sessions while you mop up the rest of the single player achievements.

It'll be interesting to see how many of these have PS5 ports announced over the next 12 months. 👀Only Indy that we know for sure so far, few rumours about FH5, but nothing more as yet. I actually thought Sunset Overdrive had already been ported, surprised it hasn't now Sony owns Insomniac! 🤔

Guess it depends who wins out inside MS going forward: do they basically throw everything they have at PS5 and just leave a few legacy titles that aren't economical to port as Xbox exclusives by default, or do they maybe have a little panic and decide to keep a small handful of exclusives back a year, to try and keep us folks happy. Maybe even something simple like initial Xbox releases and then only bother porting things that review well, say metacritic over 80, get PS5 or even Switch 2 ports and the rest get kept as slurry for us peasants wallowing in the game pass trough. I know I'm part of the problem, but I've eaten well out of that trough of delights for many years now! 😅

Would recommend the ones I've played in Sunset Overdrive, Hellblade II, Starfield, Infinite, and MCC to anyone who hasn't played them.

I'm the one that wrote the guides on how to do all the online multiplayer with just two people. Its real hard, but doable.

Sony doesn't own the Sunset Overdrive IP, at least to my knowledge. They did buy the dev though so we probably won't get a sequel. :(

Edit: I'm sorry, I was mistaken.

So you’ve essentially confirmed the original question which is no, it’s not completely doable solo.

Sounds like it’d be easier to get a boosting group together instead of just one other person though.

Yes, but I was countering the statement that you need a group of 5-7 people. You don't need a group, you just need one other person that really wants those achievements.

Also, it was a whole lot easier for me to coordinate with one other person on getting the achievements than trying to get 7 other people to show up on time consistently. You don't get all the online achievements in one night. But your mileage may very, if you can get a group together it is easier to get the online achievements that way.

Ohh, I see what you were saying now. Tbh I completely missed the part about needing 5-7 people as I just copied and pasted it and didn’t read past the first sentence lol.

Nice list. I've played 6 of them, finished 5, and wrote walkthroughs for 2.
