Maneater patch fixes buggy achievement

this game is pretty bad tbh, achievements still dont seem to work right and it seems like im stuck in the starting area. the objective is to eat the dudes hand but i leveled to 10 grinding eating people on the beach but i cant seem to smash these gates. also it constantly says i need to press A to evolve the sonar ability but that doesnt work no matter what i try

This is one of the most glitchy games I have ever played. I've done all the achievements but it says only 74% have unlocked.

Annoying. I was on level 18, and did a load of collectables and side quests in Sapphire Bay today. Then beat the apex predator, won the battle with Scaly Pete and levelled up to Elder, by that time I was level 21.

Nothing unlocked and I was back in the grotto so I quit to the main menu to see if that unlocked the 3 cheevos it missed. Went back into the game and it's not saved and set me back to level 18 and lost at least an hour of progress.

All popped perfectly when they were supposed to when I tried again, but what a waste of an hour redoing it, as if the game wasn't repetitive enough already.

From what I've seen elsewhere, it's possible for the very beginning of the game to glitch where you end up getting thrown on the wrong side of the wall, meaning you're stuck in The Gulf and surrounded by hammerheads, unable to progress. If you don't see the very obvious hand in the water when you start, you need to restart.

With all that said, I played the whole game start to finish and had no achievement issues whatsoever, so I guess I'm lucky? The only issue I had was the camera getting stuck inside the shark when splash screens for incoming enemies came up. A restart will fix that and it didn't seem to happen twice on the same enemy luckily.

My achievement for killing the apex predator in dead horse lake (the barracuda first apex predator) and the achievement for reaching infamy rank 1 did not pop. Although I got the achievements for killing all of the apex predators in the game as well as infamy rank 10? Anyone else having a similar issue?

Caviar Key, 100% collectibles and and the Apex Predator did not unlock. Shame it's so far in to replay for these two achievements.

So im 3 hours in the game and i realize i didnt get the achievement for completing the tutorial

Literally had no problems unlocking all of achievements in this game.

One guy necros a thread from last year and everyone jumps in complaining. Sounds like a whole lot of user error going on.

Bone Body didn't unlocked when killed the apex hammerhead, so I never got Science Experiment achievement. I think it was because I was fighting hunters at the time, and I think the hunters may have killed the apex, so the mission completed but I didn't get the rewards

What about the rest of them? The game is a fucking disaster. Achievements don’t unlock n save progress is always getting deleted. I’ve done 2 areas 3 times now.

i have problems with QUICK RESUME.

Just finished the game. Killed the boss. Got the 100% everything achievement but not the revenge achievement. So i take it to get that achievement i am going to have to play the whole game again. SHIT!

Both the nutrients and license plates ones are glitched for me, WOO HOO!

Everything unlocked with no issues for me

I had to replay the game for all the licence plates. Dlc is buggy as hell. Didn’t fuck up any cheeves thankfully. I did have to restart the game numerous times cause of the unplayable stutter. After starting the dlc, I was always naked starting out and had to eat a few things to jump from level 30 to 40. It’s done now and hopefully no more dlc.
