Avowed drops gameplay trailer with 2024 Xbox Game Pass release window

Looks rough in my opinion. Was expecting better graphics and not a copy of Skyrim, oh well. We shall see how the gameplay is.

Looks fun, but I did get Skyrim with mods vibes from it. Not that its a bad thing

By far the worst looking thing on an otherwise fantastic show. Looks embarrassing and I wouldn't even show it in this state.

Graphics are a hit and miss and all xbox games have just 2024 without revealing month or quarter. So that’s not a lot to go on plus it’s a very lacklustre showcase for the hype created. Only two games coming this year from first party

And this is the biggest disappointment of the show. The gameplay was something we've seen a million times already (better elsewhere) & it's like Godfall & Immortals of Aveum had an illegitimate child in terms of visual palette.

Way too garish.

For all the hype around it, I, too, was a disappointed.

Skyrim meets The Outer Worlds...i liked.

Looks interesting. Don't understand the moaning about the visuals, but then I couldn't care less about graphics as long as the gameplay is good. Not enough there to get much of a read on the tone or depth of the game - but it's Obsidian, so I have high expectations on both that I'm pretty confident they'll deliver

Obsidian’s strengths don’t include cutting edge visuals, and I’d much prefer them play to their strengths of writing, world building, quest design etc. rather than Microsoft get too involved and muddy everything up.

I love that people are saying this looks like Skyrim as if it’s a bad thing. It’s the best thing it has going for it. There are next to no scrolls like games and the few that are out there are trash. Obsidian knows how to make this exact type of game.

Didn't expect to hear anything on this, but was super pleased with how it had ESO/Skyrim vibes. Definitely will be playing this one, just hope it has co-op

Trailer basically looks like Skyrim with a different skin on top. Curious how Obsidian is building upon the fantasy first-person RPGs that have come before it.

Looks great. People complaining about graphics baffle me, it looks great. Not everything has to be photorealistic. And of course it looks like Skyrim - I thought that had been made clear ages ago - but what's wrong with that?
