Looks like a good game that people will end up bypassing using a console command to get an easy 1k dance

I remember this being quite fun on steam, but I think it's the kind of game that might be a bit unreliable on consoles ('Astroneer' springs to mind as a similar example)

Wow! I had assumed they just quietly cancelled this game, since we've heard nothing for years.

Edit: This wasn't the game I was thinking of. I thought this was the one where you build space stations out of everyday objects, like school busses and such. Anybody remember the name of that one? I guess that one WAS cancelled.

Chuck it on Game Pass and if that becomes the case it’s a game I can get behind. Played it quite a bit on PC years ago, 0 interest these days for it.

Wait what? Any other games pull that multiplayer is different per console thing? Especially considering this game has been in development since the early days of the One. This just sounds like another broken experience on launch

9 people already played this and it's almost two months away? I'm used to seeing players within 1-2 weeks of release start popping up, but this early??

Not that we've ever seen before. It's very strange. I've reached out to the devs but not heard anything back yet.

It was one of the first indie games announced when the One first came out. It was mentioned a couple more times, but then was never mentioned again. I only remember it because we were in the middle of a dry spell of space-based games, when I really wanted to play some.

Thanks for the quick response. I didn't think so but wasn't sure. I mean I'd get it if this game launched 6 years ago when announced and they said 2 players on 360 and 4 on one or something but this is just strange.

Found it. Habitat Looks like it met it's kickstarter goal of 60k then just disappeared completely. Originally it was meant for PC then added One in. Never even came to PC. The website for the developer 4gency goes to some Asian language restaurant kitchen website, websites for an old game they made and one for Habitat also go to Asian language sites

Thank you!!! No wonder I couldn't think of the name. "Habitat" doesn't make me think of space in the slightest.

Now I no longer have to wonder when tf it's coming out, because it's not. I've been thinking about this game off and on over the years and didn't realize it's already been 6 years since it was last mentioned.

Does anyone know whether the Ultimate edition is worth it to buy? It only seemed like the ultimate edition came with cosmetics but I’m not entirely sure.

I have put about 400 hours into this on PC. Such a fun game. It needs more direction. Survivial mode is still a little rough, but over all its still an amazing game. I put more time into this game then minecraft. The purpose to do thing in Minecraft seems way more refined. Open up the end, and kill the enderdragon. You need to do a lot to get to that point.
Space Engineers doesn't have the clear direction, base building and spaceship building is WAY WAY more fun than anything in Mine craft. To start with next to nothing and then build a rocket to take off from earth like planet is one of the top 3 coolest gaming moments of my life. Then to improve your rocket for hyperspeed travel. Visit different moons and planets. There is sooooooo much potential here. Which is why I pick this game up again and again because they keep making it better with every major update.
