At the same time its not his company, and his skills are transferrable in tons of different industries, so if the ship sinks, plenty of lifeboats to go to, while the less experienced workers pay for it. We have seen it happen all across the industry the past year.

I hadn't played Pillars of Eternity before, so I decided to start it now to get the background and just can't seem to get into it. It's got an old-school feel to it with the half-text/half-voiced character interactions, and I'm not a fan of the 3/4 view. Avowed looks like style-wise will be more to my tastes so I will likely still play it.

If anybody is curious about it but doesn't want an unfinished game on their tag, feel free to start playing - I completed the first few maps, plenty of time to get the feel for it, and didn't pop any achievements.

Anyone have any recommendations for summaries to help pick up on some of the lore before playing Avowed?
