It is a shame Pirate Yakuza not getting a physical release, otherwise I would buy this week. I do not like buying digital, and when I have a huge backlog of other games, it is a huge waste buying more games day one full price.

I can get the physical games cheaper and it only cost me about £40 for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Gold instead of £75 digitally. So now have option to resell and get money back or keep, but with digital get to only keep and lose access if internet goes out.

Hopefully it will be in Game Pass soon, if not a last minute day one addition.
Limited Run might be doing a physical in the future as they've been releasing a bunch of Sega games recently, including most of the Yakuza series.

So in reality only like 3-4 actual games and 17 or so Google Play ports. Cool.

People complaining about the shovelware that's been "allowed" in Xbox clearly haven't visited the Playstation and Switch stores.

I'll probably give that idle zoo a go. I've played a few of the idle games so far so will be interesting to see what the gameplay loop is like

Backrooms 1998 has very positive reviews on steam so I’m probably going to check that out.

Love my horror games. (We need a general horror tag or an adventure horror tag).

It still amazes me thinking about how like 10 years ago we would get like 2 5-6 hour games a month and be like "Oh look a couple terrible kid games to boost my score!". Now we get 15-20 0-1 shovelware style games a week lol.
At least it isn't as bad as Steam. I saw something about how like 60% of games on Steam nobody plays which is insane. I forget the exact # but it was a lot.

I remember something similar. Not sure if it was 60% but it sounds about right. Must be some insane junk just thrown up on there in an attempt to make money. Thankfully the xbox marketplace isn't as bad.

My apologies, I had the percentage and timeline wrong. I read it in a Kotaku website. I don't use them often so I'm uncertain how reliable they are.

"19,000 games came to Steam in 2024 and 80% of them almost had no players."

I’m about halfway way through Tap Wizard 2, games seems to be quicker the more you play, get the items to make things easier.

There is sooooooo much trash on Steam lol. Every time I go through my recommendation list I'm shocked at just how many asset flip games there are. And don't get me started on how many xxx games flood the market if you take certain filters off...

Only just started Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth but you can count me in for some pirate Yakuza down the line. I find these games so ridiculous and love every second of it!
