Xbox sale round-up March 14th, 2023

It took awhile but Maneater DLC finally 50% off.

I can replace the guy wanting Tomb Raider on sale by asking for Dirt 5 Year One Upgrade ...

Frequently goes on sale on Playstation, last time it was on sale for Xbox was December 2021

They literally said "they will be replaced with another" yet they keep coming back and complaining about it - that's seems like it's on them if they don't like it that much.

Also if you're gonna start throwing around "gaslighting" and "passive aggressive" accusations at people then why not mention Les Miserables doing the exact same thing to me a post or two earlier?

Both are a complete non-event, neither are gaslighting and neither are passive aggressive - it's called "ribbing" which means "good-natured teasing".

Anyone else old enough to remember when that could happen without people taking offence and trying to escalate something out of nothing?

An Alphy said:Valkyria Chronicles 4 plays a lot like a alternative history anime-esque (because of the art style) WWII XCOM with teenagers and young adults - a tactical squad shooter with permadeath for characters (though you are granted a very generous amount of time to revive fallen allies, unless you play like an idiot and send someone off to their death), though I figure it's not as hard as XCOM. It does have its moments where you'll either be replaying the mission for the gold medal a few times or just use a guide. Overall was very impressed even though tactical RPGs and squad shooters are not my thing. Some pretty humorous moments, too, and a few heavy (within the context of the story) beats here and there. The complete edition goes on sale every once and a while that has additional side missions for story, some costumes (iirc only swimsuits for the squad), a meeting with the playable characters from the first game and are then recruited for use (nostalgia trip for fans of VC1), and a non-canon story that lets you recruit 2 OP bosses from the campaign for your squad.

Haven't played Valkyria Revolution yet, but it's an action RPG/hack 'n' slash that fans of VC see as the black sheep of the franchise.

I didn't know commenting about game sales in a game sales thread was whining! I'm just happy my game is finally on sale again. Please enjoy the rest of your day. =)
