2. Microsoft hasn't listed any non-BC 360 deals yet (nothing on xbox.com or majornelson.com). What are you expecting TA to post?
1. It's still relevant as recent developments have led to increased confusion. And you don't know for sure that he wasn't asking about the point I made. TA recently was separating the 360 game sales between 2 posts - those that were BC and those that were non-BC. Starting last week, they never posted the non-BC sales. I understand Microsoft was late to post them, but TA never issued an update or otherwise made a separate post. Here we are on week 2, with no separate post even though sales have already gone live. Your point is valid, but is old news. Even when TA started combining BC games with the Xbox 1 posts, there was still a separate post for non-BC until 2 weeks ago.
He asked about separating 360 and One lists, with this being a combined list. I explained why it's combined. My response is valid and correct. And no, it's not old news - week to week, people still ask why there are 360 games in the list.
That response stands, but now I'll respond to your alternate topic...
2. Microsoft has posted non-BC deals already.... I was expecting TA to post said deals... see the link a couple posts above yours:
https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/gold#dealswithgold. Apparently they weren't live when the user posted the link, but they appear live now.
I had already looked at Deals with Gold on xbox.com before I responded. With the exception of "Final Exam", everything there is BC and is already included in this list.
TA's sales articles are generated automatically. Long gone are the days where TA staff painstakingly assembled the list from a web page. If the Microsoft source for 360 non-BC games hasn't been populated, there's not going to be a TA article. With the various store changes Microsoft is making, it's quite possible that source isn't getting updated or isn't available anymore.
Regardless of the why, it's not the "problem" you make it out to be. It's not a big deal.
