Maybe I'm very ignorant but what is the advantage of cloud based gaming? Is it helpful for those that don't have Internet or maybe just those that are mobile?

Maybe I'm an old man, but I don't need anything more than a console and PC haha glad this an option, I'm just not certain I would ever use it.

I've used xCloud to play some Game Pass games that weren't downloaded, so maybe this helps people with bad bandwidth that can't download games but stream them?
Great for mobile. I got a logitech G Cloud and love being able to play while the Gf is using the tv, or when I'm not at home and have some free time like at the parents' for holidays or whatever. It's also handy to have at work to play on lunch. It's not something I thought I'd ever choose to pay for (I have a bunch of game pass ultimate from using the 3 year conversion), but now if they ever upped the price due to cloud I wouldn't be upset about it. I feel like I'd get my money's worth

I think there are 3 use cases for playing via cloud streaming:
    1. You can stream games on your mobile devices while you are away from home and don't have your console with you, or when you need to free up the TV at home.
    2. If you want to play a platform exclusive game but don't intend to buy a new console. For example people without an Xbox are able to stream Starfield if they care to play it.
    3. Testing a game via streaming to see if you actually would enjoy it before committing to download the game on your console.

Question about Boosteroid, sorry if it's a dumb question, because I'm definitely interested, are you able to earn achievements in Xbox games?
Yes. It's the first sentence in the article.
    That's ADHD for ya ??

Boosteroids are easily cleared up with just a topical ointment

Right? You keep hitting them home runs Microsoft!
This definitely isn't Microsoft claiming a win, this deal was done last year to show "we play nice with competitors" so the ABK deal would have a higher likelihood of getting completed. I didn't know what the service was either but they're 1 year into their 10-year deal with MS, so unless anything drastically changes we can all continue ignoring the service.

The big one for me is being able to start near instantly. Nothing more infuriating than getting a new game, then having to wait 3+ hours for it to install.
If your internet is that slow, would it even work well for cloud gaming?

No idea what Boosteroid even is, assuming its pointless if you already have GPU.
Something tells me they’re “working with them” for the time being and then will eventually buy them out.

It’s another “cloud based” streaming service by the looks of it. Let’s you game from anything you can access a web browser with or something.
