Are you seriously considering boycotting a video game because a CEO expressed a certain opinion you don't agree with? Grow up dude. The fact that you're still holding onto this is the sad part. If every CEO tweeted out their politics you would probably boycott all of them.
If the CEO should be allowed to tweet his opinion then OP should be able to not buy their games. Simple as that. The irony is you're trying to control OPs actions lol.
No the difference is this person wants the CEOs life ruined because he expressed an opinion on a law. Fuck those type of people and they are one of the main reasons for a decaying society. People like that are why cancel culture exits. I think you're forgetting what OP said.
Good point. But I guess he's the one that decided to share his opinion with disregard to the assumption that everyone would just be ok with it. I'm not an advocate for cancel culture at all it's definitely gone too far but I do think certain individuals need to be more careful with sharing controversial opinions.
My opinions do not align with the Tripwire CEO so I suppose this pill is easier to swallow but I certainly don't hope his whole life is ruined etc.
On the flip side he also didn't think too much about how other people's lives may be ruined by not being able to have an abortion.
