Looking forward to this much more than Starfield tbh. Co-op would have been fun though, ah well.

Good! Don't care about MP, or coop in my SP games. Especially now that I dropped all of my "friends". I've always vastly preferred SP over anything else anyway.

Of course it’s not because they don’t get it work on the series s.
Uh yeah the whole not getting coop to work on the Series S is one of the dumbest narratives about it. And the fact people believe it let alone repeat it is just as asinine.

If they're not confident they could make it work, than I'm glad they were aware enough to cut it. That being said, I still believe being able to invite a friend into a game like Skyrim would be a dream come true. Avowed being similar and offering co-op would give it a leg up on the Elder Scrolls franchise. I don't want games built around co-op, but co-op being supported in single player games is never a bad option to have.

that's not a good news for the next MS exclusive.... they cancelled the multiplayer part and decided to develope a singleplayer game.
This is a very good news. Microsoft has enough various co-op/multiplayer games. Time for more single-player only titles, especially big ones.

Yeah i know what you mean, but i thought about redfall… Microsoft made the wrong decisions there. I think thats a risk to „stop“ the developing process and bring a new „masterplan“ on the table.

I hope the best and i am a big Xbox Fan, but i want some good exclusives outside the gears/halo/Forza Universe.

Hopefully means that a third person option is being done instead they can do it as it's in Grounded. I'm not keen on first person only in a RPG as don't see a point in creating a character just never to see.
I strongly agree. It's disappointing that with all the big upcoming first party RPGs, only Fable appears to be third person. Avowed, Starfield, Outer Worlds 2, and Clockwork Revolution all seem to be first person only, which I feel like Xbox already has a glut of with the existing Bethesda back catalog.
Starfield is not 1st person only

I don’t know if multiplayer attracts publishers or not, it doesn’t attract gamers, that’s for sure. Unless it’s a COD or BF, everybody else has tried and failed with server closures within a year. Glad it was realised as a mistake and made Avowed as single player. I am sure this will be great final product. Now please consider making a sequel to Alpha Protocol.
There are gamers who want local co-op, which is not affected by server closures.

I would love to play a game like Skyrim in local co-op.

No it doesn't. You want something like that go play something from somebody else that has it. I'm glad XGS are focusing on pure SP games. I'm tired of coop, and MP crammed into stuff when nobody asked for it.

nope looks like it was the weak Series S holding back dev and they announced today that they are having to drop split screen co-op because the Series S is a POS.
