So....Are they still going to fix the DLC issues?

So, like many others I am unable to complete the DLC due to the bugged progress in the reach infamy level 5. The game says I'm level 6 and I cannot progress any further. Subreddit says there is no workaround and we need to wait for a patch.

With the light of recent news with the publisher and dev fallout due to dumb political distancing (why do political opinions even have any impact on an already existing contract between developers and publishers?? ), will we see any update anytime soon to fix this? Anyone catch any communication from the devs saying they are working on it? I'm so close to finishing it but I'm stuck due to the progress glitch.

Bought the DLC 2 days ago.
The game became slightly crashy afterwards.
Finished the main story early.

During one of the DLC crashes, at the main menu, accidentally selected `play' instead of `continue'.
It spawned me in a grotto at Level 30.
Checked the maps, story, evolution(4th square locked), etc.
It appeared to put me somewhere near the end of the main story.
Panicked, restarted game, `continue', grotto spawned me where it crashed.
Finished the game 100% at 6am this morning.

Wouldn't expect any patches anytime soon.
So, start your game, select `play' instead of `continue'.
See where you spawn, maybe you will be content to progress from there?!

Wow...thank you. I will give this a try. Had no idea this was a possibility! I will report back what I find.

Your choice to wait or start over.
But this is an easy fun little game.
At least what you're experiencing is not like getting rank reset in Gears Of War 2 or 3, and have to grind for your life.
Been there done that.

PS: after 2 years of grind,
now 100% all 181 achievements on Gears (of war) 5.

I think I'll wait for a patch if that ever happens.

Congrats on the gears 5 completion. I know my friends are grinding that still daily. I believe its 5xp this week ha!

Did you figure it out? Stuck on level 6 too and achievement for the DLC not unlocking!

Ah, beans. Just started the game today. Is it bugged for absolutely everyone or can I get lucky?
