Yakuza 3,4 finally will drop from gamepass. Paw Patrol World & GRIS are definitely manageable to finish before 28 Feb, and GRIS is a good game! smile

Welp. I’ll hold that L for not getting around to the other Yakuza games after finishing Yakuza 2.
don't beat yourself up. I played 0, Kiwami 1 and 2 back to back. 3 was just a huge step down afterwards. Hopefully it will get a Kiwami treatment as well.

Well if the Yakuza games are going to drop out of Game Pass, guess I need to add them to my Steam wishlist. Finally got around to playing my first (Yakuza 0) last year and was hoping to get to another this year.

Hopefully they add pirate yakuza to replace those taken away
lol no. If a Xbox player wants to get into any entry in the franchise now, they’re paying. No buts (unless if you count demos for whatever reason).
undoubtedly the pirate majima game will not come to gamepass day one, but nothing prevents the game from coming eventually in the future btw, that sounded a bit salty for me

So on the topic of Yakuza games.. which ones are the “weird” ones? The non-numbered ones? Or are they all weird? Not interested in a generic yakuza game, I want wackiness.
Welcome to TrueAchievements, the site where completion times are made up and the Gamerscore doesn't matter.

Yeah I made it a bit into 3, but I just didn’t have the same hype for it. It was on the level where playing it was fine, but when I wasn’t playing it, I had no desire to get back to it lol I don’t really wanna say it’s janky, but going from a full remake to a game from the 2000s definitely brought some whiplash.

I was about to tell everyone complaining about Yakuza games leaving that 3,4 and 5 are often on sale through the Remastered Collection but after checking, it seems SEGA got rid of this bundle and now you have to buy the whole franchise from 0 to 6 including the Windows stack. Which is a shame because this Complete Series bundle is quite costly, might scare away potential buyers who might not want to play through every single game if their first experience is not positive enough. Not sure what they were thinking with that move.

They're all weird in the sense that the Yakuza formula is basically : serious and emotional main story (with some wacky elements like this damn bullets plot twist in 4 or that underwhelming national secret from 6) + substories that are all about the goofiness and having some fun. So don't worry about the wackiness, you'll get your fair share of that and you will definitely not have a "Yakuza life simulator" but you should not sleep on the serious elements of the story which for the most part is just brilliant.

maybe PAW Patrol but forum has a few glitchy achievements which puts me off.
Didn't have any achievement issues with Paw Patrol when I finished it off last week, took about 6 hours overall so it's short enough to squeeze in for some simple GS.

Not too bad. Already completed Paw World. Bought Yakuza 3 and 4 after left before for £5, but still not played them yet. I bought Maneater with DLC. Wo Long has DLC which needs purchase, but will have to give it a go to see if its worth buying.

If games have DLC I always buy the bundles than just DLC, as do not want to be left owning DLC and having no base game to play them, as left GP, ever since Dead Rising 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider left GP, and I just bought the DLC, the base games were delisted, and only bundles left, so had to buy the bundles with DLC again.
Buying:Physical discs leads to profits, Digital games leads to bankruptcy. I will not support digital fully until we can trade digital games

I knew this was coming but still 😩 I bought Yakuza 0 and Kawami 1 and 2 when they left gamepass a while ago and then they came back.

I guess I will wait for the individual games to go on sale again and pick the rest up.

Maneater and Gris for me! Violent sharks and introspective malaise.

Maneater was a ton of fun for those of you who are considering it. RPG as a shark. laugh

I'll try to finish up Gris, and if I have the stomach for it, Paw Patrol.
    This space for rent.

I finished the initial 1000 for Wo Long, but couldn’t be asked to pay the prices they’ve asked for the DLCs. Guess I won’t be finishing this one anymore.

Edit: Looks like the pass is on sale right now though. Can I finish the dlc in time though?

I'm going to try to finish Wo-long. I recomend Maneater. It was a fun, unique game and not too long or difficult to complete.

This is another big list of games leaving. Hopefully there is an even bigger list of games coming soon in the horizon.

Most of the Yakuza games will be part of the weekly sale that begins Feb 24, both console and PC stacks.

Yeah I'm not sure what you mean, they all have wackiness in them. The main story might be serious, but no game is shy from wacky
