I am hoping we get a big 2nd half of February as this half is bad. ID@Xbox show should have a few surprises. But getting, what, 3 new games to the service in the first half the month while losing 7 hurts (Avowed is 2nd half).

One of the games, as has been mentioned, was on games with gold. Long time users should already have access. Far cry is an older title and a shorter/cheaper expand-alone game that goes on sale for $8 regularly. It's also my least favorite Far Cry since Primal. Madden is part of EA play. If you like Madden cool, but otherwise meh.

If Starfield is going on Standard, they must have squeezed the juice as much as they can. Probably a safe bet we see it on PS5 this year. I wonder about Switch 2 though, will the CPU be able to handle all the physics/1000 simulated hotdogs in a ship cabin etc? 😅

Avowed on it's own is more than good enough for me personally. I'd have almost certainly had it pre-ordered if GP didn't exist so that's £60-70 saved immediately.

Never heard of Avowed before. Might give it a go if the reviews are alright. Hope the second wave has more games than this one.

Here's hoping they'll add that supposed "new game+" to Another Crab's Treasure that has different enemy placement and other changes(I think they also mentioned new shells)while it's back on gamepass.

I just checked, the content update is called "year of the Crab"

It's also going to be a free update which is nice.

We lose more games than what we get. Best deal in gaming. Sarcasm aside, gonna start Another Crab's Treasure, but I really hope Avowed makes it up for it.
