All decent/good games but my excitement for AAA games has massively dwindled and I mostly play indie games these days. I may eventually try Avowed but the main game I'm looking forward to and I'm probably alone in this is Orcs Must Die on the 28th of this month. Absolutely stoked.

Bonus mention: ANNOUCE CALL OF DUTY ON GAME PASS. I own all console games but I can't justify spending $60 and then $50 for each season pass of every call of duty that got added to PC! I want to do CoD ghosts for a 3rd time. LET ME

I want to play most of these, I have no idea how I’m going to have time for it all!

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black — Already playing, having fun
Sniper Elite: Resistance — Maybe on a rainy day, the last one was meh and this just looks like more of the same
Avowed — Nope, Matt Hansen can kick rocks
Atomfall — Definitely gonna try this
South of Midnight — Nope, they compromised original creators vision, gutted the game, and left it to a buncha noobs to screw up - will never support creative thieves, especially for the reasons they did it.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 — Been following this for a bit, wasn't aware it was gonna be on GP, definitely trying it
Doom: The Dark Ages — Most anticipated
I'm just a guy, staring at each new Rockstar update, asking it to be single player DLC...

Good write up, it's stacked and looks to be quality and quantity.

You know that feeling in sports, your team is down, but they finally score, and you're like "Okay now it's actually a game." Maybe a poor analogy because I'm not talking about console wars or xbox loyalty, but instead this finally feels like "Okay now the next gen is in full swing." For a while it felt like we were going to skip right to the next generation without this one really even getting started.

It's only stacked if these games turn out to be good, granted some like doom will be winners regardless but promising ones like clair obscur and south of midnight may not be received as well. If they all perform or play poorly guarantee people will jump on the bandwagon of hate

People will hate regardless of quality. Indiana Jones was a commercial and critical success but people gave Xbox shit because it's going to PS5. You can't win against irrational folk.

    Exactly !

    You can never please everyone.
And even when you are close to perfect, some people just get off on being trolls or being negative for the sake of it 🤷‍♂️

Cautiously optimistic about Avowed. DOOM will be good but nothing to get really excited about. Don’t care for any of the others.

On paper it looks good, when the games launch it may be a different story... but getting excited about a few of these already dance

Gamepass is a very compelling proposition right now. For me though, i refuse to vote for a more convenient parking lot that destroys swamp lands.

I can afford these games at full price. I have barely come to terms with a disruption in internet connection means this-box-wont-play-nuthin because i own multiple xboxs and making one my home xbox kind of doesnt matter because ill be screwed at some point anyway.

So i absolutely am not cool with some kind of clock in the background asking for money. Gaming in 2025 is like buying hours of time. I think only have about 150 hours in my budget to get AC: Shadows, Clair Obscura, South of Midnight, and Doom Dark Ages in my hourly budget. It cost me more but i do fancy myself as a uppity guy.

South Of Midnight is gonna suck. Reviewers will give it good ratings just to play devil's advocate but I can already see the majority of players not liking it.
