    Considering the reward system isn't available in many countries, it would be really crappy if they sacrificed sales for it. Then again the Xbox One reveal showed that Microsoft really don't care about other regions outside the NA and a few Eu countries so I wouldn't be shocked
    I don't think it's a case of sacrificing anything, I just believe you have to value the entire package as a whole.

    PlayStation may choose to have deeper sales, but Xbox may choose to offer a better valus via its streaming service and offer rewards, I have a buddy on PlayStation he tells me they get naff all, assuming his correct, I ain't gonna quibble over paying £3 more for a game in the sale, when Xbox delievers fantastic value across the board.

    I'm looking for the FC4 DLC for the 360, personally. It is always $30, which is outrageous considering the price for the One. This is never on sale for the 360. (Apparently it was over a year ago, but since then there have been dozens of other Far Cry sales that don't include it.)

    Just buy the Valley of the Yetis DLC, the others don't have achievements. But again, you could just buy the whole gold edition for the One for the same price.

    When I eventually upgrade, I probably will have to do that. Don't want to wait that long though!

    that bundle is fine outside of each of the games being part of a different game genre its nothing special tho
    if 2 or more of the games look interesting to you grab it otherwise skip it

    I don't think you realised they were talking about non-BC Xbox 360 games not going on sale anymore. Neither the SP or the Valley of the Yetis are on sale:

    When it wasn't in the last big Ubisoft sale I gave up and paid full price for Valley of the Yetis. It was the last thing I needed for 100% series completion - Far Cry/leaderboard Series

    Only thing worse than DLC not going on sale is DLC getting delisted without an announcement. The days of non-BC content are numbered.

    Far Cry Instincts Predator is backwards compatible though but I've never seen a sale for it since then. Why not discount it with rest of your lot Ubisoft?

    I've been trying to pick up the DLC, for the original BO in the sale, I've not had any joy with it, I've accepted I'll be paying full price for it at some point.

    Older games seem to be forgotten.

    Is the Sims 4 dlc ever not on sale? Those prices are still very very high though, higher than the cost of most of the full games!

    Switch, PS, and Steam seem to have vastly deeper sales than Xbox does, and I don't know why. Well, I'm sure I can guess, but I can't imagine these games sell MORE at higher prices on Xbox, do they...?
    I quit worrying about sales, I only buy what I’m going to play the moment it’s done downloading. That means at full price sometimes though during big sales sometimes I’ve finished something and it’s time to pick something new. I save a lot of money that way (counterintuitively).

    Occasionally I whiff (Cyberpunk 2077 actually bored me and I quit early on). Occasionally I will get a game like Mortal Kombat that’s the kind of game I play very sporadically (usually one game purchase like that a year).

    Honestly doing that and playing Gamepass has fixed the whole FOMO thing that Steam used to operate (because no one actually plays all their Steam games).

    This kind of thing may or may not work for you, and it takes some practice, but I thought I’d mention, I’ve talked to several folks who do the same and like it better that way.
    Wise words. It took me over 10 years to figure this out. Of course I still have a backlog of games I bought for 50% off that are now 80% off (or worse, became GwG) but I’m finally getting around to playing them.

    Especially DLC. Revisiting a game you completed many months later because the DLC is on sale for $10 cheaper isn’t as much fun as playing the game with the DLC installed.

    I gave up on The Far Cry Fortunes Pack ever being on sale in the end I just make a saved tab in a not often used browser for all the DLC I want that don't go on sale and then get them when Topcashback has it occasional £1/$1 cashback and get that off the price of the cheap stuff and the £2.50/$2.50/$3.00 like Cashback off $10 etc offers work on the slightly more expensive stuff.

    As for rewards - I don't seem to really get them - even though I seem to be signed up I wouldn't chase them anyway My time is worth more than the discount.
