Yes the First tree, Aer: memories of old, the town of light and Maize are great stories and interesting, probably a couple of hours or more each to complete.

    Gosh what a shitty sale.
One man's shitty sale is another man's jackpot, I bought five games today, I bought one out of the whole E3 sale. It's nice to see some of these smaller games on sale.

It seems to be pretty decent considering this is immediately following their huge E3/Summer sale..

I want monsterboy. But not at 15% off. Should be 50% off.

Friendly heads up. You can't add a second player to ACA Neogeo games. Hamster has known about this problem and does nothing to fix it.

There are a lot of problems (notably the button scheme) that are in every Hamster game, and they do nothing about them. Ever.

Some pretty cheap titles that I don't have, will probably expand the ever-growing backlog again.

Despite my stance towards Artefix Mundi, I am considering picking up My brother Rabbit.
A couple of others may be worth picking up too. Will probably get the First Tree based on Sasha's recommendation.

i was actually hoping the final BC titles would go on sale. I want star ocean and infinite undiscovery.

Hover is quite a fun game, although it has a buggy achievement.

Definitely AER: Memories of old (there's a great walkthrough for that one wink, not that I'm biased), also, Maize (although it's buggy), Planet RIX-13, both Asemblance games (one of the bundles). NORTH is pretty quick with a guide, as is Bulb Boy.

Also, while I am yet to play them, Town of Light and the First Tree are both listed as relatively quick games, and depending on your stance on them, ACA NEOGEO REAL BOUT FATAL FURY SPECIAL is also listed as being quick.

I also liked My Brother Rabbit. It has a very different feel from other Artifex games.

Both Assemblance games are on my wishlist so I'll snag that collection. Gonna grab The First Tree too since folks are saying it's fun

Don't know what specific issues you have with Artifex Mundi but I hadn't bought one of their games since they changed their pricing structure. Saw the sale on My Brother Rabbit today and was happy with the price and intrigued by what I read about it. Totally worth it in my opinion, significantly different from the other titles of theirs that I have played, quite enjoyable. I didn't use a guide but then had to use chapter select afterwards to clean up a few that I had missed.
