Currently looking at four of these (Echoes of the Fey, Momonga Pinball, Planet RIX-13 and My Brother Rabbit)...probably get 2 or 3 of them depending on how much I want to spend.

The First Tree is beautiful. Highly highly recommended.
Thanks I missed that one. It looks like something I'll enjoy
Thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a look. That and Shape of the World are probably my buys for the week.

Despite my stance towards Artefix Mundi, I am considering picking up My brother Rabbit.
A couple of others may be worth picking up too. Will probably get the First Tree based on Sasha's recommendation.
Don't know what specific issues you have with Artifex Mundi but I hadn't bought one of their games since they changed their pricing structure. Saw the sale on My Brother Rabbit today and was happy with the price and intrigued by what I read about it. Totally worth it in my opinion, significantly different from the other titles of theirs that I have played, quite enjoyable. I didn't use a guide but then had to use chapter select afterwards to clean up a few that I had missed.
It's precisely what you mentioned. The pricing. I have absolutely no issue with them deciding to change the pricing model for future game. Going back and increasing the price for already released games however was something that I thought was uncalled for. They lost a lot of customers because of that.

A second glance at the list yielded far more potential buys that I had thought. However, the combination of my massive backlog, game pass, lack of time...etc prohibits me from picking up everything.

Some feedback about the following would be appreciated.

    Almost definite buys:
    Maize
    The first tree

    Strongly Considering:
    Masters of Anima
    Mages of Mystralia
    AER

    On the fence about:
    My brother Rabbit
    NORTH
    Samsara

Someone talk me out of buying some of these. laugh

Why no one as completed fall of the light?

I'd love know the same because the game doesn't look all too bad from the trailer...

I Just checked the unlock % of the game. 4 out of the 8 achievements that no one unlocked here on TA were unlocked by some non TA members at least.

    AER
    My brother Rabbit
    NORTH
These are the ones I can give my opinion on.
AER - A bit slow and repetitive, but the game is beautiful and charming, and the flying is kinda fun
My Brother Rabbit - Quite different from other Artifex Mundi efforts. I personally prefer the normal HOG structure, but it was a very welcome change of pace and once again, it is a pretty cute game.
NORTH - Good for quick score/completed game. Absolutely irredeemable otherwise laugh

    Thanks Shinnizle.
It took years, but I finally came to realize that Gamescore on it's own is meaningless. I still enjoy popping achievements, but I am no longer willing to suffer through horrible games just for quick/easy GS. Ideally I'm going to pick up for the most part interesting games with manageable achievements. NORTH doesn't seem to fit the bill then.

I'll echo these sentiments. I loved the music, and the feeling of switching forms and free-falling for a while was personally exhilarating.

wolfsburgraz playing AER - Memories of Old

Watch out for a sort of buggy achievement early in the game if you want to get the completion out of the way. Follow the instructions in the solution.

Also, isn't Thief of Thieves on Game Pass? Why isn't the game page showing that?

Artifex mundi are soooo money grabbing now. Games went up to £11.99 and last 2-3 are £14.99 yet my brother rabbit is the ONLY one that ever goes on sale anymore. And is the vanishing Of ethan carter EVER gona be on sale?

NORTH reminded me of Virginia. I wanted to like then but the fragments of the story just weren't enough for me to enjoy. I don't have a bad opinion of these games, they just fell a little flat for me

If you like turn-based tactical RPGs, I would highly recommend it.
And as a bonus it can be played in coop!

I liked Virginia. I thought there was actually something there.

North was utter crap, but super fast points.

The idea and trailer seemed cool, but I was very disappointed by the actual game. It's a bit on the cheap side (production wise - graphics, voices, etc.) and I found it quite boring. For such a short game it seemed to go on forever.

As for the achievement completion, you'll have to play through it twice. I didn't.

Just wait until it's on Game Pass. (Seems like a perfect candidate for it.)

Anybody have thoughts on Asemblance collection? Didn’t realize it was two games for $9. The style looks like a modern sci fi like atmospheric puzzler if the trailer is anything to go on. Worth it? Appreciate any and all help toast
