    Christ. I hope not.

More of the glitchfest that was well...every Obsidian game ever?

Then all the PR releases where they cry that they didn't get paid a bonus for making NV, despite not actually meeting the conditions to get that bonus.

    I'd love a NV sequel.

I‘d love a New Vegas 2 but please without those bugs abd glitches. I remember walking to a certain location and having game crashes all the time and an overheated Xbox 360.

Every Bethesda game is glitchy. Its that damned engine they use and lack of quality control. And if I remember right Obsidian developed New Vegas in a very short time, like 18 months or something. I would love a sequel to New Vegas or maybe like Fallout New Orleans. Obsidian does better with writing and character development.

Crazy how setting insane time restrictions like 18 months on a developer and giving them engines held together by duct tape that they've never used, results in buggy games. Who would have thought?

While I'd love more Fallout... New Vegas was terrible... much like KOTOR2 they improved elements of the gameplay (in this case such as having to keep weapons in good condition) but dropped the ball with the story and it felt unfinished.

Them saying they’d like to return to it confirms NV2 rumors were false unless some other company is doing it, but I doubt it.

I would trust Obsidian with a Fallout game more than Bethesda at this point, honestly. Fallout: New Vegas was far and away the best of the 3D Fallout games. Even taking into consideration the bugs and glitches in the game, it stands above 3 and 4 in atmosphere, storytelling, questlines, and so much more. If they have the proper funding and time to make it and aren't bound to a game engine held together with bandaids and spit, they can really make something good.

KotOR 2's story is held up as one of the best Star Wars works in existence. No, it wasn't finished due to, once again, Obsidian getting screwed over by rushed deadlines, but what there is is considered to be a damn near flawless deconstruction of the series.

Obsidian has consistently released buggy, on-the-rails games.

They also released the most on-the-rails Fallout game ever.

Obsidian games are almost always the same.

They give the illusion of an open world when, in reality, you are playing a game no less freeform than House of the Dead at your local Bowlplex.

Did the people in this thread even play New Vegas? Lmfao.

FNV was easily the best fallout in the series, especially narratively. I'd happily see them make a new one. Obsidians problem with their own original IP's has often been the gameplay, having a solid foundation like they did with FNV and Bethesda open world design is a great combination.

That being said, I want them to make a sequel to Alpha Protocol more.

Yes the game with the most dialogue choices, roleplaying ability and the most branching narrative is "on the rails".

I assume you played it on a different platform, because you barely got a quarter of the way through the game according to your achievement list lmfao.

Screwed over on a deadline they said they'd be able to meet? It had the potential to be a great climax... but in the end it was just a mess.
