Avowed looks like a gorgeous Xbox RPG, but the combat is missing something

Another Fable clone

I just think people need to learn to regulate their hype, especially if you have gamepass and plan to play these games on there. If you do that, you won’t be so soul shattered if a game isn’t exactly what you hoped it would be. I think the game visually looks good but I was worried about how they really only showed a ton of lizard guys but hey I’ll play it and I’m sure I’ll enjoy it

Completely agree. The impact of the wand attacks was borderline pathetic. It makes you wonder if they show these developers diaries to test audiences before releasing them to the general public. The combat looked repetitive, dull and without impact. This seriously needs to be addressed before general release.

also one note, i noticed that the death animation to all the lizard enemies is the same no matter what weapon you use..they just fall vertically like their spine just got taken out!

I hope they add more death animations instead of all enemies just falling over like a Gmod character.

Hard to make a judgement call on it since I haven't actually played it. But even if the gameplay isn't perfect, I imagine I'll still enjoy it.
