25% off Saints Row after just 1 month.
A lot of games do that.

I literally bought Watch Dogs Legion and Shadow of the Tomb Raider 2 months after release for almost 50% off.

Just a prediction here, but I’d wager that some of the Game Pass titles for sale this week might be on the chopping block next month, so I’d recommend completing them just to play it safe.

I am intrigued by the sale on XCOM 2. Is it any similar to the gameplay of Gears Tactics? I find it really relaxing to play and plan my moves slowly.

Any recommendations on West of Dead?
No, only a recommendation against it sadly, it was incredibly buggy and there's many other better Rogue-lite games for sure x_x
id recommend it, had lots of fun and i didn't find bugs. a couple of the achievements can be a slog though
Fair enough, bugs I encountered mostly consisted of my character model disappearing, sometimes falling out of bounds, and otherwise twice, the bosses got stuck and I had to restart x3

Samurai Showdown collection!!! I'll give myself 24 hours to think about it. Very tempting though!!!!
If all pork chops were perfect, we wouldn't have Hot Dogs!!!

Saints row platinum and base on sale but not gold? platinum comes with the third remastered which i already beat, and if i buy base plus expansion pack it will be the same cost as just buying the platinum edition.

    Ill wait a little longer.

Which one would you recommend: Dead or alive 5 LR or Dead or Alive 6? Do you have the Last Round version with all the costumes included?

    Thanks
Well, DOA 6 is a little more alive in terms of online matches, but honestly if I had to choose only one, that would be DOA 5 LR. It has more characters (excluding Mai and other girl from Dynasty Warriors), It has Tag Mode which is awesome (DOA 6 for some lazy reason it's only 1vs1) and it has more stages and a pretty decent number of costumes. The gameplay is amazing, some guys are hot and the girls are gorgeous ??. Hope that helps.

Edit: Neither Last Round or DOA 6 includes all the costumes, most of them (like 90%) are sold separately. Still, DOA5 LR has a fair decent number of costumes.

How is Microsoft/XB with refunds? I bought the Naruto trilogy last week for $18 and now the same bundle, with 4 and it’s dlc included is $18. I believe the original bundle is also still on sale.

If you have played less than 2 hours, you can get it refunded quickly. If not, you might need to chat with someone to explain the situation and see if they can refund it for you.

Does anyone have any insight on Nirvana: Pilot Yume? Looks like an easy 1k, but so few players have actually played the game.

I haven’t even touched it yet. Do I do this off the Xbox or do I have to go to the website?

You have to login from your account on the website. You can't request refunds on the console itself.

Yeah I just did that, thanks. There wasn’t exactly an option for my situation so I just choose “accidentally bought wrong version” and explained it in the notes. Hopefully it works.

Thanks so much for your help. Finally I got Dead or Alive 5 LR. wave

I would genuinely buy all of the Battlefleet Gothic stuff (perhaps even when not in sale) if they didn't have a gazillion unobtainables.

I wonder how much of an impact TA'ers boycotting games with broken cheevs actually has on devs, particularly the more niche and indie ones.
No effect at all. The only thing that has ever gotten any unobtainables fixed is getting attention on social media then mounting a pressure campaign.

With that said, I’m way past letting broken or bad achievements ruin a game for me and I’m happier for it, but YMMV.
I didn't so much mean in terms of them actually being fixed (it's evident there is no impact in that sense as they often go permanently un-fixed).

Rather, I would be interested in number of sales/profit foregone by those of us who are reticent to play games with loads of broken achievements.

There's many games on TA with only triple (or even double) digit player counts. Missing out on a few dozen sales is obviously inconsequential to the likes of Ubisoft or 2k, but I'd guess not quite so much (though I'm not naive enough to suggest catastrophically so) for some of the smaller devs out there. The irony is that it's often these more niche Devs that never seem to fix the unobtainables.
