There is No Greater Ruler Than Thou achievement not unlocking after Hotfix Patch

So the Hotfix Patch 1.0.1 came out and one of the patch notes says:

- Fixed an unlock requirement for the 'There is No Greater Ruler Than Thou' achievement

Well, not for me! Started a whole new campaign after the patch (new save file, Xbox One ver. 1.0.1), breezed through the 5 islands completing all of them but no achievement! TA tracker also says that no tracked gamers have this achievement. What's going on?

Are you sure you have beaten all 5 islands without ever losing your crown to the greed? This seems not really easy to me and for sure not "breezable"

Pretty sure, yes! It is a breeze if you've played New Lands before (I completed it 100%). Two Crowns is actually a lot easier in co-op. And it's glitched beyond words! Suffice to say no-one has unlocked No Greater Ruler yet - it's just coded wrong!

I don't know if you can lose your crown in the caves or not with this achievement, but the 0.00% unlock clearly indicates that it's not unlocking properly as I'm sure people have done that already. I started the retrieve your crown thing 300 times and lost it to a jumper once so I'll need to start a new save anyway. I'll wait for another patch. I'm looking forward no winter / more vagrant patch as well!

I have the same issue.

I've met the requirements for this twice now. I have just finished a new playthrough: all 5 islands, 218 days in total in a single reign. I did not lose my crown once and it didn't unlock.

I read the same is happening on PS4. I was going for it but all confirm that is broken. I think I will wait for 1.0.3 patch (1.0.2 is available on the switch first and it is not fixing common breaking things like the bread dissapearing from the bake factory)

Right, this achievement is at least glitched... If not completely broken, I completed all 5 islands, I didn't need to even retrieve the crown, built all portals and the 2nd portals for return travel and nothing has unlocked, although the patch note says it fixed an unlock requirement, not actually fixed the achievement itself.

You suppose to create a new campaign from scratch to be able to unlock them.
Sadly they are still bugs on all the islands. At least for me:

- got the same statues to enhance on 2nd and 3rd island (farmers!)
- I built a catapult on island 3 but after a while the structure from it dissappeared, so I am unable to build fire barrels or a new catapult of that one is destroyed.
- rocks to build towers seems to be heavyly reduced on islands 4 and 5, not sure why.

The good thing is that now the baker works, and the individual breads does not dissapear
