These games are listed as console exclusive to Xbox at the time of writing, or the last update to this article. Most of them will be available on PC too, and some of them may only be timed-exclusives. Read on to check out the full list...
None of these games are actual exclusives. This is all just marketing fluff.

I dont care about exclusives. I DO care about a superior ecosystem, better controller, lower prices for just about anything and generally a much better treatment of its customers. That's why I choose Xbox.

Playstations exclusives are no longer even that hot, mostly ubisoft clones in fancy wrapping.

    Sony's entire existence has been:
    This is their Zelda
    This is their COD
    This is their Tomb Raider
    This is their Mario
    This is their Halo

I ditched Astrobot after about 5 hours because I realize how little attachment i have to any actual Playstation property. What do i care if Ico or Ellie show up. I recognize them from my agnostic reading of gaming mags or just being a reference point for so many, yes memes, or played through the game to stay relevant in my message boards screeds and bannings.

If i could only salvage certain memories of my time with playstation since Day 1 is the Street Fighter games, Twisted Metal, Diehard Trilogy, Resistance, Tekken 3, OG tomb raider, fifa, and Tony Hawkseseses. None of these are relevant to me in any capacity. Id rather play these where i still own them... kudos?

All other things are some nerd on a podcast or some game of the year list telling how great a 100 hour ride Persona 4 is. I want to trust them but ive been burned enough to know NOT getting a playstation (or really not main platforming) means im chasing someone telling Metaphor is some great game when i know entertainment backgrounds (music, irl sports, movies and tv) DO NOT ALIGN whatsoever.

Following all the Xbox events we've had this year, here's our refreshed and updated list of all the upcoming Xbox exclusives for 2025 and beyond!
We got some good news at the game awards. The Outer Worlds 2 has been promoted to multi-platform status—Obsidian’s trailer showed it being released for Steam and PS5. If we’re lucky, more games will be elevated in stature and provided with greater audience exposure.

They have plenty of 3rd party titles lul. Who asks for Sea Of Thieves when they have Helldivers 2? Where's the excellence?
Well, Sea of Thieves has sold over 1.5 million copies on Playstation. Which is about the same as Astrobot. The "game of the year". Seems like many people want to play SoT. Not bad a for a nearly 7 year old game.

They certainly wanted to play it more than Concord... lul, to phase your parlance.
And how many of them still play?
Dunno. Plenty I'd guess. More than Concord players laugh
    Would you kindly...

I'm genuinely thinking about getting a Playstation, I'm so sure Sony is gonna acquire FromSoftware and then they will make things exclusive to PS. I'm a fan of their games so...
Sony will not acquire FromSoftware individually. FS is a subsidiary of media publishing giant Kadokawa. Sony has been interested in some of Kadokawa’s subsidiaries—specifically, gaming (one of which is FromSoftware) and anime.

Every few years, talk of a Sony acquisition surfaces. However, Sony is only interested in anime to come under Sony Pictures and video games to come under Sony Interactive Entertainment. Kadokawa has insisted on the acquisition being all or nothing whereas Sony is not interested in the bulk of the publishing empire.

The matter today is more complicated. A few years ago Kadokawa and Tencent Holdings Ltd. entered into a complex business collaboration. Tencent is larger than Sony as a corporation and views SIE as a competitor. Tencent has a reputation of being ruthless towards its competitors.

Tencent is the largest player in the video game industry. They work hard at maintaining this ranking. Their modus operandi is to acquire a minority stake in companies in their wheelhouse, as they have done with Kadokawa, and pull the strings behind the scenes.

In short, you can be confident that FromSoftware, a GOTY winner with Sekiro and Elden Ring, will continue under Tencent’s umbrella and not join SIE’s stable of first party only developers.

Exclusivity isn't a thing anymore. There is no point writing articled on it or disscussing it. It's meaningless and out of date.
And just plain bad. Exclusivity is an asinine way of pissing away revenue opportunities from a business perspective and an unsavory practice wrt prospective customers.

Silly. Exclusivity is what differentiates the systems. Maybe Universal Studios should license out their ride systems to Disney.

No. That's what fanboys think. They shrilly lament the demise of the console they worship whenever a game becomes available to other platforms. But the fact that a game is released on other platforms in no way changes the experience on the platform they play.

Exclusives are bad. Restricting sales to one platform is a dumbass business decision and denying a game to owners of other platforms is ethically disreputable and implies the manufacturers do not have confidence in their consoles succeeding on their own merits.

Honestly, I see both sides of this.

On one hand, exclusives can drive hardware sales, if someone really wants to play a game that is only available on a specific console for example, then they will be forced to buy that console.

On the other hand, exclusives really limit the potential profit that can be made and multi-platform games are easily accessible.

It becomes one sided when a console manufacturer pays a developer not to develop versions for other consoles.

If xbox supports Series - S as long as they supported/support xbox 360 that puts me in the year 2043 when i can no longer buy a game. I think im good. I memba when tom clancy died and we wouldnt get any more books from him. Worry lasted about as long as a good fart. Get over it. If xbox consoles die they die. If they have a new system im in. Im never going to be a PC gamer and Playstation and Nintendo arent for me... touch grass folks. Im so glad i never got any videogame tattoos. Attachment, though prevalent, is not a problem.

Personally i never bought into the exclusivity nonsense. For me i bought my console because of the price and the fact it played 99% of what the more expensive one did. My gaming journey has been Amiga, Megadrive2, ps1, ps2, xbox 360, xbox one, xbox series s. If a game isnt on my device i ain't playing it, theres plenty of other games out there
Sonic 4 ep 1 felt completely incomplete gameplay wise and development wise. you could stand still at 90 degrees for heavens sake lol

Meh, the Ponies have been capping for Halo for over 20 years, they're getting it, and I guaran-damn-tee that within a month they'll cry about some aspect of it.
