$70+ or wait 3 more days for Game Pass… such a difficult decision, in literally no way.

If I’m not willing to exploit Game Pass as a way to fully trial games what am I even paying for it for? Yeah sometimes I like said games and pick them up on a discount just like I occasionally like a movie from a streaming service well enough to buy. But I spend $240 a year and since the fast servers and good support seem to be gone, I don’t know why else I’d be paying it if it wasn’t to save myself money on playing new releases.

No because i not like this game, good to know that people prefer to wait until february 18 on GP but for me it's avoided.

i just got hyped for Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.

Nope, waiting for the release on GamePass.

Saw the screenshots, watched some footage on Youtube and it just looks awful both in character designs and gameplay.
Might give it a go on Gamepass but if not, i'll pass.

I'm honestly not that interested. I have been playing through Assassin's Creed games I have never finished/ or played. Played through Rogue the other day, which I have never played before.

I'm dying to play it but couldn't justify the deluxe edition price just for cosmetics.

I would have liked to, but paying for a half-assed premium edition to get a few days early access is not worth it.
The forums on this site are so ignored and outdated, it makes the WWF forums from the 90s look good.

    Nope.
Getting the game "free" with GP is enough.
I'm not paying 25eur for a couple of skins and early access.
    Eat. Play. Love.

Still playing Kingdom Come 2 or I may have sprung for the Avowed Premium upgrade. No substantial DLC in the price was off putting though. Definitely be playing when it hits Game Pass though as I booked a week of vacation to play.

$30+tax to play a game that will be free on gamepass on Tuesday? In this economy?

I'm currently playing Cyberpunk 2077. Finished main story and almost finished Phantom Liberty. This game is absolutely incredible, I have enjoyed every minute (actually, over 120 hours at the moment!), but I imagine it is unrecognisable from when it first released.
On console maybe, where it had performance issues leading to all kind of glitches.

You notice the most that they changed the skill tree and cyberware (builds don't matter in this game). Stuff like changed police behavior and pedestrian behavior didn't really matter in my experience, they were never game breaking to begin with and I never cared. And cars still drive like shit, as in most open world games.

Beside that it plays pretty much the same overall. I played it a few weeks after release on PC and beside some floating objects, the cars crashing the wall in the city center, and one visual glitch in a car on mission that is still there, I experience none of the issues so prominently shown in videos in multiple 100% runs.

Recently played it on xbox again with the DLC. Beside the small additions, changed skill trees, some polish and QoL stuff, the overall game experience was pretty much the same now on console as my first PC playthrough.

It's a great game, one of the best I played and one of the few games I 100% more than once. Love the storytelling and Johnny. The Johnny thing carried the game. You could say Keanu carried it.

The DLC was a letdown, just a generic spy thriller - wished they continued with the Peralez story. I would never replay the DLC (had one or two good parts though), but the main game will for sure get a another playthrough from me.

ill be going to KCD 1 and starting the xbox version over from the beginning because it has been years since i played it, and after i 100% it and the dlc's, ill be doing the windows stack, then KCD2.

After that, ill probably do one of the other games from BD '24. It is a list of like 30+ games left. I will probably add Avowed to BD '25.

Don't get the point of 5 days early at all.
Especially when there's no rush to play a single player game. Like there's no incentive to finishing it first. And if someone say spoilers, that's why you just don't get on youtube if you are that worried about most subpar written modern storylines lol.

Somewhat surreal moment loading up battlenet launcher and seeing Avowed in there. Weird

No, paying extra to play a game a week early is dumb af. I'll play it on xcloud in a week, or when Amazon/Epic gives it away for free in 9 months, or maayyyybe when a physical copy is released on PS5 and its actually worth buying.

I used to make exceptions to this rule for developers who I just knew would never let me down. The last time I was foolish enough to believe any of them could be trusted was Borderlands 3…

Pre-ordering is dumb and all those bonuses are almost always available as a DLC much later if one simply must have them.
