Was watching some streamers play this last night on PC. Looks really good. Damn shame MS didn't put any money into marketing this game. I've only seen it on TA and Twitch so far.

Watching reviews coming out from YouTubers I trust it does seem like the game is really lacking in story and definitely is not a 9/10 if you aren't on the MS influencer payroll and aren't playing on a $5k gaming PC. On Series X there are some performance issues apparently. The writing is apparently like Starfield and Civ 7. Just feels very corporate and sterile. Nothing to suck you in.

Nice to see a good score. Might have to give this a shot

At least it is limited to the News forums mostly. Anything on the frontpage. The achievement and community forums are chill and super helpful. The only Drama I've seen over there is when one odd indie developer decided to lurk and lash out at criticism.

Exclusive? Good luck with that Microsoft...Avowed had almost no marketing and they released the game when three better RPG games Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and Monster Hunter Wilds is coming out...
I may try this game on XBox(since I do have Game Pass) but I am not paying $70.00 for this game if it decides to comes to Playstation because like I said I could pay for and play three better games...
The only way I could see me buying Avowed on Playstation is if and only if it cost $20.00 or less..

not touching this until the save file bugs is fixed. such a joke to let that level of a bug to the live game

i agree though. I was hoping it'd be as in-depth as Fallout: New Vegas since it's the same dev, but I don't get that vibe at all from what I've seen.

I'm still on the fence on this, hung up on that really weak demo they showed awhile back. Will wait to see what others think. Veilguard got good reviews and that didn't turn out well.

What I've seen and heard, Awoved delivers on some areas and falls flat on some. Maybe it's what people expect from a RPG.

For me it's interesting characters, meaningful actions, gripping story and immersive urban environments. In these areas Awoved does not impress. However, combat and wilderness seems excellent.

But Game Pass makes it super easy to test.

The world is cool but everything else... You only loot zo uograde. The Quests are older than my Grandma. Everything you loot or kill is gone. The world geels so emty after some hours. Even 80% of the Story are just another Greed Fall. This Game is ok not more. In some points Greed Fall was even better. The amor here dont change optical when you upgrade it. In Greedfall you see wat you built. The game is realy bot bad but Im glad I obly payed 20 bucks so far.

And rhe loot is so boring. I just take everything blind with me. Its allway uograde Items ir Items you can break for upgradeitems. The fights are to fast what means the animations are low. Some other animations like burning walls etc. feel and look like a game from 2005.

I dont hate the game I play it but... This hype... I cant get it...
