The rest of us.. We're waiting on Monkey Island 1 and 2 again Or Rare Replay.. Why hasn't Fear 3 gotten a sale? Or the other 2 360 Splinter Cell games?.. AvP? Condemned? FF13 trilogy?.. There's just so many that aren't getting a look on at sale.. They surprised me with the 360 Tomb Raiders and Deus Ex Human Revolution a few weeks back.. Here's to hoping they can deliver something worthwhile for us 360 sales wise next week. I'm not holding my breath though.
You can get most of those physically from CeX for a few quid. The only thing on your list that will cost more than a tenner is Lightning Returns. As for Monkey Island, worth it even at full price.
Its about owning them digitally.. I have the physicals already. Its not about whether its worth the full price.. This content hasn't gotten a sale in a long time.. Not that long about they put Return to Monkey Island on sale but ignored Secret and Revenge.. Its things like that, that are frustrating.. I have all of the FF games digitally.. Except FF13 trilogy.. There is a reason I am seeking digitals as we are moving into a time when having the digital gives you more access in different places. Plus its not all about me.. There are others out there without access to cheap second hand game stores.
I think if you're wanting to buy stuff that is 10-20 years old and being picky about the format, then you probably shouldn't expect any special discounts. 360 is almost at the point where it could be considered retro gaming.
The stuff is already on a permanent discount anyway, FF XII for example was not £12 at launch. I suppose they could have left it listed it for £50 and occasionally reduced it by 75% to £12.50, so people could feel like they were getting a bargain...
