Maneater bites back in August with Truth Quest DLC

ugh....time trials :(

Yeah these time trials suck, I appreciated the original release for it not mattering how shoddy the shark handling was.

Cheevos are retroactive

Despite it saying on Xbox marketplace that the DLC doesn't work for Xbox one, it actually works just fine. I was able to purchase, download, and play just fine. I had already completed the base game and all original achievements. After I installed the update, I booted up the game and the new content appeared on the map.

Yeah this is a weird one. My account sharing buddy bought Truth Quest, he's on Series X and I'm still on X1X, and on the installation list it shows up as a 10.1MB add-on that comes up with an incompatibility error message if I try to install it.
Load up the game without it installed however and it still seems to be playable. I mean, I shouldn't complain but it seems strange that it works.

Can someone confirm if you're able to start the DLC anytime even from a new game or do you have to make much progress first?

After purchasing the DLC. New content appeared on the map for me but it seems to be part of a title update. The entry to the new area shows up on the map but when I try to enter, the game tells me I need to purchase the DLC which I already did. I checked my storage and it says I have the DLC but it's not installed and won't left me because Xbox live thinks it's not compatible with my Xbox One X. Hopefully they fix this soon. Never seen this happen before.

To add to the store won't play on Xbox one error ,the game also tells you that you don't own the dlc that I had to reboot my Xbox to get it recognised again

You no longer own the truth quest expansion,would you like to load into port Clovis ?

The Satellite for Destruction quest seems glitched..
Ugh the eniemes will not throw grenades this makes the DLC unplayable as you cannot advance the story.

How is the stability of this dlc so far? A few people told me it's buggy

Has anyone had any achievements unlock that were previously glitched? (If this was mentioned, I missed it). I know Science Experiment broke on me and many others...

@Kyleia on reddit someone posted just 5 Mins ago that the new update also fixed his science experiment cheevo 🤘🏽
For mit it was also glitched and I‘ll try it in about 10mins when my download will be finished!
