Death Come True - Walkthrough overview

Welcome to the TrueAchievements walkthrough for Death Come True! This is essentially an interactive movie in which you make choices at certain points, some of which will lead to your demise. Every achievement in the game comes from finding all the different ways to die, and a few of these are necessary to progress further into the game... you'll understand soon. Not much more needs to be said, so let's get into it!

Death Come True - General hints and tips

The controls are very simple: usually when you make a choice, you have to look around using the and select a choice by holding down . Sometimes, the choices will all appear on the screen instead and you select them in the same way by using the and . When the videos are playing, you can pause by pressing ; this gives you the option to fast-forward and rewind with and respectively (you can fast-forward or rewind without pausing after the first time you pause) and to open the menu by pressing , which allows you to access the options and quit the game.

Don't select End when you die thinking it will quit the game as this actually ends your game entirely and resets you to the beginning. If you want to continue the game later, you can quit the game through the options. However, if you do want to start a new game, selecting End is how you do it.

Death Come True - Story walkthrough

I recommend letting the story play out in full if you have the time, which would take about 2 hours. If you just want to get the achievements quickly, you can fast-forward straight to all the choices/death screens by pressing repeatedly to get all the achievements in under 15 minutes. You have to press to pause the game when it begins properly with the shot of the door before you are able to fast-forward.

Make sure to select choices in the order they're given here. You must make the 'wrong' choices before selecting the ones that actually progress the story as there's no way to rewind back to make any choices you missed. If you do miss any, you can select 'End' when you die to start a new game and fast forward to the choices you need or just do them on a second playthrough after reaching the true ending.
