Players looking forward to Leenzee's upcoming action-RPG can now check out some Wuchang: Fallen Feathers gameplay via a new eight-minute gameplay video. It offers a good look at what we can expect to see when collecting the Wuchang: Fallen Feathers achievements when the Xbox RPG launches on Xbox Series X|S and PC, and joins Xbox Game Pass, later this year.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers gameplay showcases Souls-like combat

  • An eight-minute Wuchang: Fallen Feathers gameplay video has appeared online
  • It launches on Xbox Series X|S and PC sometime in 2025
  • Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers will be able to play it on day one
First spotted by Wccftech, new Wuchang: Fallen Feathers gameplay has been shared by Chinese media and streamers, giving us a decent look at what to expect from the upcoming Soulslike action-RPG. Things have been somewhat quiet regarding Wuchang: Fallen Feathers since the game was announced last year, but it's expected to launch sometime in 2025, so perhaps developer Leezee will begin showcasing more of the title ahead of its impending launch.

In a video shared by Cyber Tourism, the player is seen traversing various environments to collect shards called Red Mercury, which are deposited in shrines to upgrade Wuchang's abilities — a similar system used in other Soulslike games. Of course, plenty of combat is also shown, revealing a plethora of demonic enemies as the player parries, dodges, and counterattacks their opponents. Various outfits are used throughout the video and a very relaxed panda is shown as a vendor.

According to the game's store description, Wuchang is a pirate warrior suffering from amnesia, who "must navigate the uncertainties of her mysterious past while afflicted by the horrific Feathering disease." The game takes place in the depths of a place known as Shu, which is overrun with abominations that threaten all of humanity.

"Explore the depths of Shu, enhancing your arsenal and mastering new skills harvested from fallen foes," the description reads. "Evolve your fighting style by sacrificing elusive Red Mercury and further develop new techniques obtained throughout your action-packed journey. Augment the weapons in your repertoire with powerful enchantments, allowing for a unique approach to combat and strategy that suits your personal style."

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has been sat on our list of upcoming Game Pass games since June, so we're hoping to see it launch sometime this year. What do you think of the gameplay video? Will you be exploring Shu later this year? Drop down below and let us know!
