Open Roads, which was set to join Xbox Game Pass next month, has been delayed by a month as Annapurna says the team is still adding polish to the narrative adventure game.

Announced for Game Pass alongside a Genesis Noir sequel late last year, Open Road was originally down to launch for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and join the subscription service on February 24. Now, as confirmed in a statement to engadget, Annapurna says Open Roads will now launch on March 28 to "ensure the most polished experience for players."

Open Roads tells the story of Tess Devine and her mother, Opal, who one day find a cache of old letters hidden away in the attic of their house. With hints of "deep-rooted family secrets, decades-old burglaries, and a lost treasure somewhere near the Canadian border," what they discover suggests there is a much darker mystery at play. The pair soon set out on a road trip to explore abandoned family properties to uncover buried memories and the truth they've been seeking.
