Now, the free-to-play shooter has been delayed once more due to newly-discovered issues found in a recent public test session. "Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent Public Test Session and continues to stand alongside us as we build XDefiant," reads a post on social media. "The PTS once again showed us your appreciation for our fast-paced gunplay, uniquely crafted maps, objective-driven modes, and iconic Faction roster. "But it also surfaced some inconsistencies in the game experience that we need to address prior to launching our Preseason. So we've made the hard decision to delay the Preseason of XDefiant. The team will continue working to address these issues and testing them to make sure we deliver on our goal of being a best-in-class arcade shooter. We will share more information about Preseason and testing as it comes."While a firm release date has never been announced, Ubisoft stated back in June that XDefiant would launch this summer. However, that was before the 6v6 free-to-play arena shooter failed certification on consoles and was pushed back to a "likely" October release window. Now, with no release date in sight, we'll have to wait even longer for those XDefiant achievements to show up.More XDefiant stories: Xbox achievements 2024 — top 10 most completed games of the year XDefiant server closure to discontinue all 13 Xbox achievements Claim your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks for November 2024 Claim your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks for October 2024 XDefiant executive producer comments on shutdown rumors DelayedXbox Series X|SUpcoming ReleaseXbox One Written by Sean CareyA big fan of Xbox achievements, Sean has committed to playing as many of the best RPGs, racing games, and first-person shooters on and off Xbox Game Pass as possible.
