We've been bouncing with anticipation for Obsidian Entertainment's latest offering for months, and it certainly hasn't disappointed, with Heidi saying it "fully embraces the fantasy elements for a wonderfully old-school RPG" in her Avowed review.Set in the Pillars of Eternity universe, Avowed is a first and third-person RPG that takes players to the magical Living Lands as a godlike — someone blessed by one of Eora's gods at birth. You need to investigate rumors of a plague known as the Dreamscourge, befriend several companions, and battle it out with all manner of creatures with an array of weapons from wands to flintlock pistols.
